When I picked up this funnel, I did so on a whim because everyone knows when it comes to funnels, you think of the major players like Justrite, Polymax, and Americraft. Those brands really do make some excellent funnels, however where I think this Lumax really shines is the angle of the wall proportional to the spigot. You see, where your typical Justrite 18 oz. or the Wirthco 17 oz have a 160º - 165º angle, the Lumax LX-1602 16 oz. is coming in at 158º, which as you can imagine, is a pretty significant upgrade. What you sacrifice in a couple of ounces in overall volume you get back in performance. This beauty pushes lower viscosity liquids like through like a greased rocket through the stratosphere. But where this black beauty really shines is with your higher viscosity liquids: your crank case oils, gear oils, and transmission fluids. During an oil change using 10W-50 synthetic blend oil I clocked four quarts using four different funnels and results are as follows: • Justrite 18 oz. - 13.44 seconds • Americraft 20 oz. - 14.44 • Wirthco 17 oz. - 15.52 • Lumax LX-1602 16 oz. - 11.89 11.89 seconds, folks!! Can you believe that? That's one quart of oil into my motor in less time than it takes to flow a half pint of two-stroke gas into my weed whacker. I was expecting a win, but never did I imagine such blistering performance coupled with outstanding value. You're really never going to find a finer funnel for under $5. Heck, I'd venture to say this bad boy can hold it's own against some of the more exotic silicone and poly-vinyl based funnels that start in the neighborhood of $8 go up from there. Can't stress the value in this enough and will be purchasing many, many more. 5 stars all day. ... show more

    • Destined to be a funnel
Has a big whole on the top, and a little hole on the bottom. Made of durable plastic. I poured engine oil into an engine, and none of it spilled. This funnel has fulfilled its destiny.

    • Just what I needed
I needed a larger funnel than those I already have. This fit the bill perfectly. I try to conserve water so I empty left over water from my kitty bowl into empty gallon bottled water jugs for repurposing. These fit perfectly in the top of the empty jugs and empty the water quickly.

it does it's job, i don't know what more to say to be honest. if the size fits what you want it to do, go ahead and buy it. otherwise, i suggest you don't. if you want to funnel things, it works. worked for me, should work for you too

Looks like a funnel, acts like a funnel, I would call this a funnel. You pour liquids in the big end and it funnels out to the little end.

    • A good quality plastic funnel.
These seem like sturdy well made funnels. The lower quality plastic ones have small pieces of plastic left over that has to be trimmed off before they can be used, and this one didn't have any of that which was nice. Nice size and will work for about an job where I would ever need a funnel. Actually after getting two, I think I could use a bargain pack of about 10 of these in different colors; it would be nice to have black for oil, blue for water, yellow for chemicals, red for gasoline, white for bleach, etc... ... show more

    • It's a funnel
Not much to say about it other than: it's a funnel. Poured oil through it, checked the dipstick, poured a little more. Moved on with my life. Will use it again at the next oil change.

    • HUGE sticker on the side
It did the job but a HUGE sticker came on the top and it was ridiculously hard to remove. This was for a sand ceremony so that wasn't a great feature.
