The app is great and the integrated mounting and add on mounting clips are easy to use. These are the gamechanger Lights. Tired of hanging light during Christmas. Look no further. Theses lights are bright and good quality. The sticky tape on the back is very good. The app is easy to navigate. You can set the lights to any color you can think of. They can be set to flashing or just any one color of multiple colors. So worth the money! Brightness is amazing!! So many different color patterns to choose from. Solid lights with multiple mounting options. I went with the screw mount option instead of the adhesive tape backing to mount them simply because I would need to first clean my eaves/soffits so that the adhesive would best stick :) i did temporarily test the adhesive mounting option and it seemed to hold up really well for the few days i tested that option. Color overall appears to be pretty accurate and vibrant, and brightness as previously mentioned, is also very nice and during testing, throws a good splash of color on the house which only looked better as it became darker outside. I can't comment yet on the weather rating, durability, or led lifespan but build quality seems to be high and given the install for these usually keeps them directly out of the weather, these should last pretty long. I did give them a water test with the hose for a few minutes and in the rain and the lights held up just fine. Using the lights seems to be pretty intuitive when controlling it via the battery powered remote or control box. Pairing with the lumary app was fairly straightforward and consisted of having a 2.4GHz WiFi AP and the lumary app installed with proper permissions granted (bluetooth and nearby devices) on your mobile device. All of the different lighting modes, individually changing each lights color/brightness, alexa integration, etc. all worked as they should. I did not run into any issues pairing, navigating, or using the app at all. For anyone that is interested in home automation, I have found that these use the tuya chips inside so integrating the lights with homeassistant was also pretty straightforward and i was able to do so using the 'localtuya' integration (for added control/security) as well as the official tuya integration which requires external connectivity to the tuya IoT platform (cloud). Overall, these are high quality smart lights that are built very solid, perform very well, and have plenty of features and configurations both with and without the mobile app. Very pleased with them and would certainly recommend these lights to anyone in the market for some quality lighting for the eaves of their house. The Lumary Eaves Lights Max are an outstanding addition to our home. Installation was a breeze with the provided 3M sticky pads for spacing and screws that gripped well into our plastic soffit covers. The app setup was quick, and I love how easy it is to customize patterns or sync additional light strings. So far, we’ve installed these on our first floor, and I’m already planning to extend them to the second floor. The WiFi range is excellent—our lights connected instantly, even through multiple walls from the garage outlet. These lights have become a fun, interactive feature for our family. Our two-year-old loves shouting out colors, and now we can bring that playful activity outside while playing in the yard. They’ll pair beautifully with our Twinkley lights for Christmas, but they’re perfect for year-round use too. Suggestions for Improvement: 1. A splitter option for powering multiple sections would add flexibility, especially for multi-story or complex installations. 2. Similar to how Ring lights come with angle adapters, adding adjustable mounts would help address the unique angles of different homes’ soffits or roofs.
