My son has been planning to sell his old pickup truck, and I got this to help him shine it up a bit. First impressions were pretty good -- it's nice to have the option between the loop handle and the side bar. Simple to set up, and with a quick look through the instructions we were finally on our way. The trigger switch takes a little getting used to, but once you get used to the push & slide to turn it BOTH on or off, it's simple enough. I do think I'll be using this on our other cars next, but this isn't a tool that's going to be getting industrial-level use. It's a nice-to-have for a homeowner (car owner), and within that level of expectation, this tool should do fine. As I think some others have noted, the bearings in this tool are very noisy, and that seems to be a feature I have with a number of less-expensive Chinese-made tools (like my Harbor Freight angle grinder). That said, I've used that tool with some regularity for probably ten years and it's still going strong. Here's hoping that this buffer will deliver similar service.

I was fairly impressed with the overall quality of this unit. Nice parts and well fitted. A sliding ON switch that took a minute to figure out, (press on the back half of the switch, it will pivot and slide forward over the pins. Then it can be locked in the run position. Good length of cord and comes with a loop handle and a straight handle, Smooth speed control. This is a DA, duel action polisher. I have a dual action buffer and have done cars and boats with it, it works well but this design actually gives you better hold on the tool with less fatigue and more control. That buffer is a 10 inch and this is a 6 inch The 6 will get in tighter spaces but the 10 will work a big area faster. I might try using both on my boat next time. All these things really do is take the arm work out of moving the pads around and of course they will be much faster than your arm and do a better job of moving material and blending it. If you don't like these pads you can easily buy other types and swap them out. You can get them at your local auto parts. Compounding, polishing, and all that other good stuff takes a bit of learning to get it right. There are lots of videos on YouTube that can help you get the best results for all your hard work and a shine that will really wow them. With this machine and using the right compounds and waxes you can take the most weather beaten paint or gelcoat and make it shine like new again.

I have not used a power buffer/polisher prior to ordering this one. I got it primarily to address some paint fading on my 2005 truck. I was told by a relative it might "buff" out, so I thought I would try this product. Unfortunately it helped a little, but did not completely restore the paint in those areas to match the rest of the vehicle. When I relayed my experience with a "car guy" friend, after examination, he said the problem is probably due to the top layer of clearcoat paint disintegrating. In that case, any amount of buffing will likely not produce the results I was after. However, I have 2 other vehicles and very much look forward to using this tool next time they are due for waxing, which should be in 6-12 months. In the past, that has always been a strictly manual job using cloths. The Lulyday appears to be well made with substantial materials. I really like there are 2 handles with different options for holding the tool while using. I also like the different attachment pad options for polishing or buffing. My one complaint, a minor one, is the instruction manual has basic limited information on using the attachments. It would be nice to have a step by step instructions for the novice user of polishing/buffing tools. Otherwise, this seems to be a very nice and useful product.

I've always wanted a buffer for the car, so I ordered this one when I saw it. Not that I have nice cars or anything, I think my newest car is a 2008. But I am the only man in the house so I guess cleaning the car is my job. I've never had one, so it took some getting used to and figuring out the polish and how fast to go before everything dried too quickly etc... But I liked this buffer and the control I could get with the different speeds which are easy to change on the handle. Now the different pads attach with velcro and you just slap on and rip off the ones you need. Not sure if that is a common thing and where to get replacement though. Also, for the speeds 5 & 6 seems sort of powerful, on our old cars it might have stripped the paint so you have to be careful. All in all, It is a good deal for the price, while new, it seems to work well and I have no complaints.
