  • Excellent little player!
I was pleasantly surprised by this record player. First, I chose this one because it didn’t have a lid. I’ve never had the notion that I’d close the lid on my travel record player and head to a friends house and be the life of the party with my 2 watt speakers :) It’s attractive and seems to be well made. Mine works perfectly without any quirks or problems whatsoever. It also comes with a felt slip mat (pictured), that wasn’t in the description. The speakers are comparable to the Crosley and Victrola players. I personally can’t listen to any of these speakers, but it does have RCA ports to connect to any powered speaker set and I connected mine to a pair of Fluid Audio F4s and it sounds amazing! Obviously it’s not automatic, but it does have auto stop, which stops spinning when you come to the end of the record. It comes with 3 plug adapters for different voltages. Mine came with the 220 adapter installed and it took some brute force to change it. If yours comes that way, slide the plug up, don’t pull on it in any way, ONLY slide it up, it will resist, but keep pushing up. I live in Oregon and mine shipped from Las Vegas. I’m not sure where it came from exactly and the box (pictured) didn’t answer any questions. All in all, I personally think it’s a good value and worth the money. It’s very nice looking and works excellent. I have zero complaints, but I do have a question I still haven’t been able to answer. Where can I get replacement needles? They look exactly like the Crosley and Victrola needles, but I don’t have one to try. I hope this helps :) ... show more

  • Great!!
It worked perfectly and sounded great. Since I wanted it to resemble an old school stuff, I wasn't thrilled about the bluetooth part. (Many might want the bluetooth...). Other than that, I really can't complain about anything. So far, I love it.

  • The one I received was defective, but customer service is great.
I have a lot of stereo equipment and I like to buy interesting stuff even though I already have a lot of functioning turntables (both high and low end). Okay, first the good parts on this one: This simple turntable looks nice, the speakers have a clear sound (although not extremely loud and very little bass), and it is very light and can be moved around easily. Now for the bad: A turntable has its sole function to play vinyl records. This one plays a few but not very many. I have new and old vinyl that play perfectly on my four other turntables. On this one they skip and the tonearm floats around in the grooves, goes backwards and forwards like it can't decide which way to go. There is no way to adjust the weight or the pressure so that the needle stays in the groove and tracks correctly. The end result is that it is useless in playing records. My guess is that I got a defective one since there are many other reviews that say theirs work properly. I'll be returning it for a refund and spending money for a higher quality product. It's too bad because I liked the simplicity of this item. UPDATE: I upgraded my rating due to customer service. Unfortunately I had already returned my turntable and ordered a different brand but the customer service from this company is very good. They offered to send me a new one without sending the old one back or they could process my refund. I like when these companies are pro-active on taking care of their customers. Even though mine didn't work I would be happy to order from them again. ... show more

  • 12/10 Great Player
The media could not be loaded. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot as it was from a brand I had never heard of. The big players of record players are Crosley and Victrola. I was, however, very pleasantly surprised when I received the record player. Very lightweight with a beautiful finish, I compared it to a crosley deluxe player and was astounded at how much louder the LuguLake one was without losing the beauty of the music. It comes with a sort of cover to put in place of a record to keep it clean. The sound quality is great, very beginner friendly. It also has a removable piece of plastic that I can only assume is for vinyl with larger holes than normal (such as was used on some singles). Overall a very great buy, definitely worth my money! ... show more

  • You won’t be disappointed! Great sound quality!
The media could not be loaded. I looked all over Amazon for a record player that was budget friendly yet functioned as a high end player. This was the final product I settled on and it did not disappoint! Very easy to set up! Just plug it in and go! The sound quality is phenomenal for a cheaper brand player. I love the aesthetics! It truly looks vintage! It fits in with most home decor. I highly recommend this record player. If you are unsure of which one to choose or you’re on the fence go with this one, you won’t be disappointed! ... show more

  • It's like my childhood phonograph
What is important to me with this phonograph, was to play my 78 speed Oscar Levant rendition of Rhapsody in Blue, play my old 45's, and enjoy ease of operation while I am in the laundry room. Success! It came easy to install and is extremely easy to operate. Just for records, like my 1950's phonograph. Sounds the same. Very happy. It doesn't have a cover, but that's ok. It has a dust cover for the turntable part; it's a low-cost remedy to keep the costs down and bulk. ... show more

  • Good first record player
Definetly a good first record player. Easy to use, and will fit all 3 record sizes. Sound quality is 4/5 depending on how clean the record is, volume, and quality of the speakers. Definetly will need external speakers to play best sound. Definetly value for your money, it's not the most expensive therefore not the best but I do like it as a small addition to my home. ... show more

  • Great turntable, simple, aux port uses speakers, not the other way around, lacks bass
These guys make a great record player, it's perfect for a beginning set-up and looks great with wood floors. The speakers lack bass so I was going to hook up my computer's sound system to it (which uses an aux cable) but found out that it actually puts sound through the turntable's speakers which is not what I wanted. Not a problem though it has an audio output cable too, so you just gotta use that instead of the aux port. Don't let the lack of bass turn you off, just get a sub-woofer that you can hook up to it if you need it. ... show more
