I purchased two chandeliers to hang as a pair over my dining room table. They really make a statement, and I have gotten a lot of compliments on them! The crystals are glass and are cut nicely. I am impressed with what you get for the money. The chandeliers came well-protected in a box lined like a styrofoam cooler. Each “arm” of the chandelier was individually wrapped in bubble wrap, and already had the crystals attached—except for the round crystal which you need to attach to the very bottom of the chandelier (very easy to do). I could not tell from all the product photos how many “arms” there are—there are 5. You have to attach the 5 arms to the body, fish the wire through the chain and into the canopy, and connect the wires. The instructions are not very good and they give the colors of the wires incorrectly. You ACTUALLY connect the chandelier’s blue wire to the black ceiling wire, and the brown wire (the instructions incorrectly say this one is red). to the white ceiling wire. It was not initially clear to me how to attach the ground wire — I attached it to the nut under the canopy and then I just connected it to the ceiling ground under a wire nut. The chandelier “branches” are made with 4 different sizes of crystals—and the seller provides a spare crystal for each one of those 4 sizes. It also comes with spare metal pieces to attach them, all the wire nuts, and the hardware needed to install it and spare hardware. It also comes with a pair of soft cloth gloves to use to clean the crystals after installation. One reviewer complained that their chandelier was not balanced. In my experience, ALL chandeliers need some adjusting so that they hang balanced and this one is no exception. All I had to do was check each “branch” to make sure it was straight up (not leaning to either side), and that balanced the chandelier to hang evenly. They changed the whole look of my kitchen. Be sure to buy a medallion! They are glass. Just balance perfect when up and they are beautiful! Especially for the price!

This is a review for the rectangle light fixture. I see there are reviews for many other fixtures here. Overall I would not recommend this fixture, however, it is the only one that had the overall design I was looking for. I wish they would have invested less in all the remote features and more time into making a more solid piece. cons: o useless instructions - do not buy this unless you can completely figure it out on your own o very difficult to install the fixture to the electrical box and get a level connection against the ceiling. o remote is not intuitive and for my personal use really isn't necessary. I would have preferred a fixture that could be used with a wall dimmer switch. o the quality of materials and assembly is poor. the larger rectangles are not well supported and because the fixture mounts so close to the ceiling you can really tell they are not level - it will take a lot more tweaking to get it right. pros o the actual overall look of the light is exactly what I wanted. o (pro/con here) the size is exactly what I wanted. be sure to take measurements - the fixture is MUCH smaller than it appears online. This is too small to be used as a fixture in a large room - I have it in a small hallway and the size is perfect. ... show more

I absolutely love this little chandelier. It's hanging over my bathtub, and it's perfect. The gold exterior is a dull finish, and looks a little antique. If I were more crafty I would have aged it a bit. But it looks really good. It did take about 30 minutes to hang all the little crystals. You'll need good vision, a pair of needle-nose pliers was helpful, but it was fun to do. Perfect addition to my bathroom ... show more

They must have used Gorilla Glue to keep the one in the photo together. This thing is so poorly made the fixture will not stay assembled correctly--no way would I wire it into my home unless I was trying to burn it down. Even the locking nuts don't help. The threads strip so easily the center pole pulls out and hangs by the wire and the sconces flop over to the side even with adhesive. ... show more

Get ready to spend around 13 hours! You have to build the entire thing with hardly any instruction it’s such a pain to get all of the stones on there they are very confusing we cannot get it to look like the picture (everything is in pieces you have to build this from scratch even the base. Not just to mention you will cut your fingers there is no way to do this with fingernails! The only reason I’m not sending back is because we already taken down the old lights not worth the headache. This will take around two days if you have other things to do for the day. Best advice cut your nails all the way down if you’re going to put all these things together. Not easy to do it yourself whatsoever! Even after looking through instructions pulling up the diagram the pieces do not go into place correctly. It’s a mess!!! ... show more

This light looks so beautiful in my bedroom. Although I didn't install myself, my friend - who is very handy and has done many light installations said this was by far the most complicated installation he has ever done. It had no instructions and a ton of wires. It took him 3 hours where normally would take him 45 minutes. Would not recommend to someone who has never installed before.
