The heat set polypropylene fiber gives a 0.4" pile that is soft, stain resistant, and doesn’t shed or fade over time. The 100% jute backing is safe for wood floors and all four sides of the rug are serged for improved durability. Great value, and quality. So soft and beautiful, colors are rich and vibrant. It’s not a very thick rug but it is very nice looking. I didn’t want a thick rug as I clean/wash them myself once a year due to kids and pets - cleaning a thick rug is more than I can handle. Doesn’t look or feel cheap at all. This rug is way more beautiful than I thought it would be for the price. I’ve received so many compliments on it. It didn’t arrive with creases in it like other rigs I’ve bought elsewhere have. It flattened our very quickly. You can’t beat the price!

I already had a large one in the Living Room and a 7" under the kitchen table so this one completed the space in the kitchen. This is much thicker than the other two making it softer and richer looker. Personally I think this was a "steal of a deal".

I am surprised and pleased at the quality of these rugs, given the modest prices. I wanted a synthetic, rather than wool, but these really do have the look of good wool rugs and they are soft underfoot. The colors are deep and subtle. The rugs are weighty and substantial, with thick serged edges. The jute backing is good quality, not stiff and scratchy like some I've seen in inexpensive rugs. They arrived rolled, not folded, and they quickly flattened out. For people who worry about odor, these had almost none and what there was disappeared in a few hours. I bought these as a temporary solution, to protect a couple of areas of laminate flooring, but I'm sure now I'll use them for years. They look great, and I can see that wear and tear is not going to be a problem. (I bought two of these, the 2'3" x 3'11" and the 3'11" round, both in green. To prevent slipping, I used some rug gripper tape.) ... show more

I initially purchased this rug in error, thinking it was much larger and tried to cancel it. It could not be canceled so when it arrived I thought I would check it out, and I am so glad it was delivered anyway. It is a beautiful rug! So very soft, much better quality than I expected for the price. Vibrant colors and well-woven. I ended up using it in another part of the house and it makes my feet smile every time I walk across it. The pets love it too. Vacuums up easily and has some heft to it. Great purchase. ... show more

The Well Woven Barclay Sarouk Red Traditional Area Rug 2'3" X 3'11" rugs that I bought, 2 of them, are doing what I bought them for. I like the looks of them, I like the feel of them on my feet. I believe that they give some added protection to my carpet on high traffic areas. I haven't had to clean them yet, so I don't know how well they clean. The corners stuck up a bit when I 1st got them, but they are almost flat to the carpet and floor now. ... show more
