I’ve been wanting to replace my table lamps with standing lamps for a while (to change up some family room decor and to release some side table real estate). Saw this and decided to give it a try. It is exactly as described and works perfectly. Comes with all parts very nicely and securely packaged. The shade is a roll up one that you unroll and attach to small metal brackets on the 2 metal frames. Comes with remote, batteries for the remote, and bulb; can adjust light settings to three different shades and multiple strengths. There is a step button to turn it on/off. Per another reviewer, if you use the remote, make sure the step button is on for the remote to work. The lamp can also be turn on/off with the remote. The bottom piece is quite light so the lamp can be prone to fall over if bumped into; I stuck some magnets underneath as there is space to do it and that helped with stability; just make sure the magnets aren’t too big as to go beyond the flat surface. The shade I got did come a bit dented and I wasn’t able to make the dents go away which took away from the clean line aesthetic. I emailed the seller and they initially sent me a video showing me how to try to fix it. When that didn’t work, I emailed back asking if they can send me a replacement shade and they sent me a whole new lamp with a perfect shade without me having to send the purchased one back! That is awesome customer service. If you do get it, I recommend first unpacking the shade to see if it is in good condition, then make sure the light works, before you go about setting it up. Set up is super easy, just screwing rods and ends together. Each remote works with its own lamp; it would be nice if one remote works with both lamps but that’s just a minor thing. I highly recommend this lamp.

I loved this lamp. It looks modern, gives great light, and I can adjust both brightness and color as I need. The remote control is super handy and the base is sturdy. The night mode is a big plus. Great purchase, I definitely recommend it.

This lamp is pretty cool! It's exactly what I needed. I got sick of having to move stuff around that's heavy. I clean mostly by myself and I have arthritis. This lamp is so light! It can be a little touchy but I don't mind. To elaborate you have to put the pole together in multiple pieces. One piece was a little loose so to fix that I took my Leatherman and use the needle nose pliers to pull part of the pole back out. Just straightening the metal out helped a lot. I did not want to have to do a return and ship another item. Prime is awesome but I don't want to wait another week lol. The lamp has a little button that you can step on to turn the light on and off. It also has a magnetic remote that you can store right on the lamp pole, so no losing the remote. Again this is a very light lamp so it would be easily knocked over. I have it in the back corner between the wall and the back of my sofa. It's not very wide so it fits in a nice spot and it's perfect for reading. It has multiple settings so you can have a yellow or natural light, a soft blue light for night time just to relax and have a snack while you're watching a movie. It goes up and down so you can choose the level of brightness. Overall four stars. I think if the bottom was a little bit heavier it would be nice but I really did want something light so this works out.

***UPDATED 7.22.2025: Upon using the lamp for a month, I grew to like it. Liked it so much so, that when I needed another floor lamp, I purchased a second one! Don't get me wrong, I still find that these lamps are sort of "cheap" and the shades are flimsy, however what makes up for it is the remote operated light control and foot operation. Assembly of the pole is super easy - It's that lamp shade that's sort of "annoying" as you have to wrap it around the supports and put it into these clips...Other than that I love the choices on the remote to choose what kind of lighting I want for the time of the day: either a warm or cool color, the dimming options and the sleep timer. I also realized that I don't mind the quality or lack of after all because it's a great space saving floor lamp, it's not obtrusive, and most importantly it services its purpose for a great price! For this, I will bump up the stars to 5 stars. Oh, plus it's shipped quickly! ***ORIGINAL REVIEW, JUNE 2025: I purchased this floor lamp to add extra light to my living room. If you're looking for quality, take it with a grain of salt so to speak on this purchase. Directions are super easy to follow for assembling (why I give it three stars), however, the overall product is fairly "cheap" for lack of a better word. The lamp shade is flimsy and we put the lamp purposefully in a corner to ensure that it doesn't tip over. The foot operation and remote operation are nice features. I wouldn't say that this is a "you get what you paid for" situation as I've made many inexpensive purchases that are wonderful products. This just isn't it. Will keep it for now until we find a better quality floor lamp. Let my review be part of your "due diligence" before you buy.

I haven’t bought lamps in forever- these are cool! Remote, which is neat. Color options for warm and cool lighting as well as three different brightnesses for each. Quality for money is great! Easy to adjust and perfect size for my living room- bought two. One on both sides of couch. Putting them together was easy, the shades are a little thin/cheap, but look great!
