  • This is a great little slingshot
I shoot at about a 31" draw, and this thing is just great, it is the first one I've had since I was pretty young, so I pretty much had to relearn and I've gotta say, it definitely seems to be a good one, and worlds better than the old daisy I had way back when. I trimmed my bands, and for the first few days I had quite a few shots that hit the frame using clay 3/8" shot and 1/2" marbles, a few dings but nothing to be concerned about, other than I did destroy one of the fiber optics (not the whole rail, just a single fiber), which I chose to remove anyway. I find it's best for me with 3/8" and smaller projectiles although I have shot the 1/2" marbles with reasonable luck, and a whole bunch of acorns with good results. I wound up giving the first one to my nephew and I've got another one on the way. It's small enough to fit in your pocket, albeit not as thin of a profile as some others available. I have larger than average hands and it fits my hand well...its cheap enough for a beginner that's not sure if they'll stick with it, and might beat the heck out of it with frame strikes, while still being accurate enough to be with you for a while, before wanting to upgrade for a "flashier" model. The tapered bands also seem great, I trimmed mine at (draw length÷5=trim length), so 31÷5=6.2" in my case, which gave me great results with the factory bands, I do not know what the manufacturer suggests, so you might look into that, nor do I know the thickness, im quite happy. ... show more

  • slingshot abuse
This slingshot has been a learning experience for me. I basically beat the crap out of this and desyroyed both sights by incorrect holding while shooting. I dont mind at all though since this length of band is more for a full draw length anyway otherwise called full butterfly grip. The bands are not tapered and on the long size of band lengths. The pouch is very small for increased velocity. After i shot off the sights and destroyed them, jagged plastic edges ruined one band set, but i have several replacements. Once i improved my technique i was able to fire steel ammo very fast. At first i tried to fire it from a cheek anchor point, but the bands were too long for that to work well. Durability abuse aside this is a good slingshot. Extremely lightweight. ... show more

  • The bands are weaker than many others
Honestly, it took me a little while to get used to using this slingshot. The frame is shorter than I was used to, but with practice, it became one of my favorites. The bands are not as strong as some other bands that are available. However, that is not a disadvantage to someone whose arm strength is a little weaker or for a beginner. As with almost all the slingshots I have used, the sites are essentially worthless. That may just be because of the way I learned to shoot them originally years ago. This smaller frame even took several hits from rocks before I figured out the small frame, but it still works really well. As a sidenote, it works really well for indoor shooting with rubber pellets. ... show more

  • Good little slingshot. Bands are too heavy fot 3/8 and 7/16.
I like that it is ergonomic, very sturdy, and precise, once you find your position points adjusted. I find the sights useless, as all the sights for slinghshots are, and also they would ruin the bands if used. I don't know who and why started this trend but the sights don't work on slingshots. Of course I would be happy if I am wrong and if someone will show me that they work instead. I mounted medium light bands instead of the heavy provided,I find them too hard for my ammo. I shoot 7/16 and 3/8 carbon steel balls. I like its little low frame and it is fine for me that it can only be used over the top style cause it's safer and more forgiving. I like this slingshot so much that I am getting another just now. ... show more

  • Entire handle turns to STICKY, GUMMY GOO
Works great, plus user serviceable rubbers. BUT you can't touch it because the synthetic material develouped that horrible sticky/ tacky gum that coats your hand and makes it useless after just two years and two uses. It may be removeable with an hour of scrubbing with goo remover or alcohol, but not worth the time. ... show more

  • Best value for a Slingshot
I love this thing. It’s so comfy in the hand. The texture is nice. It’s lightweight, easy to shoot. It’s definitely smaller in person, but that dosnt matter with slingshots. I bought upgraded bands elsewhere so that helps the performance. I recommend others to do the same, they’re cheap and you’ll eventually need new band anyways. I shoot this a lot for fun but also like knowing it’s a good emergency survival tool. More than enough for quail, grouse etc… Mine didn’t come with the sights or extras, but I wasn’t going to use them anyways. Both 7/16 and 3/8 steel shoots well from this ... show more

  • Nice Slingshot!
I like it a lot. Great size; I like the texture and the plastic is dense which gives it a little heft. The bands that it come with are better than average. I didn't love the "Sniper" branding so I pulled off the rubber patch and filled it with UV resin.
