Absolutely loving this sofa bed - it’s got stellar quality! It's got a real heft to it and the all-metal frame gives me peace of mind about its sturdiness. The seats are a bit on the firm side but, hey, the cotton and linen fabric feels so comfy against the skin. Heads up though, you’ve gotta be super careful with the assembly instructions - a little mix-up and you might put it together all wrong. But once it’s up, oh it’s so practical. Works as my everyday sofa and when buddies crash at my place, a quick flip and voila, a generous bed! And don’t get me started on the storage space - there’s this huge box right under the seat.     • Arrived with defects then broke on second use

I will update in a week or so with pictures of my repairs and fixes. For now let me say I like the look and weight of the couch. It feels sturdy (but is not due to poor design). I bought this because I needed a quick solution for my sisters visit. She reports the mattress is firm but comfortable and did not need a topper (she is in her mid 60's). I received only the first page of assembly instructions and some grainy copies of pictures with circles that were showing me something I couldn't really make out. The hinges welded to the frame had let go during shipping and were bent out. I was able to reset them and bend them back with a hammer and some torch heat. After guessing wrongly a few times at how it was supposed to go together I was able to assemble a working couch. I noticed immediately the the arms ( which have a critical resting point for the frame) were quite flimsy and I worried that that would cause a massive bed failure. My thought was the when my sister leaves I could tack weld on a support bar that connects the two arms at the front and keeps them from working apart. I also noted that the support bar that take all the weight when folding the bed up was apparently welded by a novice and I noted I would have to go over the welds later as well. I also decided to replace the inadequate hinges with a sturdier set as well. All I wanted to do is make it through one week first. Nope. Failed on night 2 when pulled out into a bed. The arms had worked apart so that the critical supports on one side let the frame fall which snapped the poor weld on the main support bar. I have the corner of the bed supported by a few scrap wood pieces until my sister goes home. I am disappointed that such a lovely couch could be so poorly constructed. Perhaps I just got a bad one. But the guy who welded mine up should be trained even a little. And the guy who designed critical arms to be unsupported should understand furniture a little better. And of course the undersized hinges that were damaged in shipping could have been more robust. Oh, and I sure could have used complete assembly instructions. And an Idea of what the pictures were supposed to show. Again, I will post pictures of the failures and my fixes in a week or so. If you are handy and have a welder I suppose I might say the couch could be OK. Otherwise I would say buy something else. The Swedes have a similar but much more robust couch. I liked the looks of this one better so here I am. The regret is real. ... show more

The original sleep sofa had a damaged headboard. I asked for its replacement and instead the company sent me a new one. I’m very happy with the outcome. I trust Amazon first of all! The sofa bed it’s excellent, comfortable and its works perfectly for me.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this bed, coming down from a queen-sized pillow top. I was very surprised and satisfied to find that the quality of construction was excellent and that the bed (although quite firm) was comfortable and after sleeping on it for a month, my husband and I love it. Not the bad part: the assembly instructions were horrible, resulting in my daughter and I making several steps, reversals, and re-steps to get it assembled. Honestly, I thought IKEA instructions were almost indecipherable! These were the most deplorable I have ever seen and we would have probably been better off with nothing. Yes, I would definitely buy this again and would recommend others to do so as well. ... show more
