This bed is a lot firmer than we're used to, but it only took a few nights to get used to it. We slept on one at a friend's house and had a good night's sleep, so when I got home, I put this in my Amazon Cart. Fast forward 2 or 3 years later, and when it was time for a new mattress, I made the purchase. Arrived quickly, and was easy to unpackage and place on my existing box springs. I was a little restless the first night because I was simply not used to the firmness. The second night was much better. It seems like every night after that has gotten better. I feel like it is much better for my neck and back than our old mattress (which was a high-end name brand but 12-15 years old). For a while now, I have been feeling pretty crummy every morning upon waking. I must say, I don't really have that feeling anymore, and feel much better in the morning. I feel like I'm getting much better rest at night with less tossing and turning. It's firm, but it's still comfortable and soft on the pressure areas. I would highly recommend this mattress, and I hope they continue to make it because I would like to buy another when this one gets old. ... show more

I’m a big man, built like a WWF wrestler. Imagine The Rock with a dad bod gut. I’m a stomach and side sleeper. I’ve been on this mattress for a month now. I got the plush 14’ king size thinking it would be on super soft cloud mode. Plush is a softer medium, softer top but rightfully firm in the middle. There is no bounce to it when you slap it or elbow drop the bed. It absorbs energy, so if your sleeping next to someone you can jump out the bed harder than a Barbarian late for a raid and will not disturb the person next to you. I had 2 different spring mattress for the last 20 years and both of them every so often had my lower back HURTING and hamstrings sore when I woke up. This eliminates that issue completely. The bed conforms to your entire body. No pressure points, keeps your back straight, side straight, and it creates a nice pot hole for your gut if your sleeping on your stomach. Pretty sweet. I used to wake up often to toss and turn and to roll over. This is the first bed for the first time in 20 years I wake up in the same position I feel asleep in for an entire 7-8 hours. No aches, no soreness, no pains and I wake up feeling “aligned”. I get out the bed do alittle basic morning stretch and feel great. I’ve beat my body up from physically working too hard and old exercising injures, this is a well worth it mattress for a big man who needs real support. Now the bed does get softer over time the more you sleep on it I guess it has a long break in period, that’s the only reason I knocked a star off. So if you have back any problems, ham string tightness, feel crooked in other mattresses , in need of a supportive bed, or a big man like me who needs to be cuddled by the mattress, get this. If this was the 3 bears this ain’t mama bears bed in terms of softness, definitely no where near papas, but certainly just right. One year update: oh yeah it’s broken in, takes 6 months before you have to rotate your bed. Now this whole bed is broken in and is more comfortable than ever. Update: Love this mattress! Best sleep either of us have had in ages. Look forward to bedtime! After going to every bed store in town , finding a mattress I loved but my husband didn’t ( plus WAY expensive) decided to follow my sons advice and find a box bed online. Read every review. But my husband wasn’t sold on a memory foam mattress. So stayed with our old worn out one. Until I ordered one for our daybed that needed replaced. He laid on it after I told him how comfy it was. He fell asleep and had a great nights sleep for the first time in ages. Three days later I crossed my fingers and ordered one for our bed( different brand) I wanted plush, and cooling gel. Don’t want to over heat. Once we got it unboxed, it filled quickly to full size, 14”. I should have gotten a 10” as our frame is high and I’m short. This is not plush. It’s more medium. I had wanted to kinda sink into it. But you don’t really. That said, it is comfortable. Offers support, and we don’t feel the other person when they move. We have both slept very well on this and really like it. My husband loves it. Would I buy it again? Yes. It’s a good buy. Just don’t expect plush. ... show more

Mattress is very comfortable but is still off gassing 2 months later. Maybe I am sensitive to the smell but it’s pretty strong. We ordered these mattresses (3 of them) for an Airbnb there was no smell but this one has a chemical smell.

I just received my matress in a box that was undamaged. I took it out of the box and easily unwrapped the matress. As soon as I unwrapped it, it began to expand. It only took maybe 5 minutes.! I was shocked how quickly it expanded. It looks wonderful. And it feels even better than wonderful! I bought the plush firmness. It's so soft and still firm and supportive enough at the same time. I have not slept on it yet, but I will do so later tonight in a few hours. I am soooooo happy with this matress so far. The thickness of 14 inches also seems to be spot on! I would strongly recommend this mattress to anyone looking to save some money and yet get something of high quality and comfortability . If you are thinking about it l, just do it! Pull the trigger. You will be happy you did. I only have one minor complaint. It took six days for there to be any indicator that my matress was on its way too me. I was waiting and waiting for some tracking info and it never came until 6 days later. I thought it was going to be UPS shipping the matress, but Amazon actually delivered it. So be prepared to wait.
