Product Care Instructions: DO NOT REMOVE OR WASH COVER. Spot clean only. Vacuum your mattress, sprinkle some baking soda on it. Use a scrub brush to gently rub the powder into the mattress and leave it for 10 minutes or so and vacuum the excess powder. Do not wash. Do not use bleach. Do not machine dry. Do not iron. Wow this bed is plushhhh! I've bought so many mattresses and went for the plush this time because so many others have been so Hard! This one is like a cloud. It is insanely plushhhhhh. Almost too much honestly. You just sink right in. My suggestion - if you go with full plush get the 10" so the mattress doesn't complement flatten. Im only 130lb and it sinks at least 1/2 the size on a10" so get 12". I also got amattress topper to help reduce the sink a little. So unless you want truely plush go for the medium plush. I have that too and its great. Both have mattress toppers. Can't go wrong. Just don't get firm. Had hard mattresses. Love the plush. Medium plush if you don't want to sink as much. My husband and I bought this because we wanted to prayed from a queen to a king. We had the original purple mattress and a new purple was just not in the budget. So we gave this one a shot! We both love the softness of it! He is a back sleeper and I am a side sleeper. It works great for both of us, no more waking up with sore hips and shoulders! I bought the plush 10 inch. I'm 5'9 and I am a relatively muscular 185-195# depending on the time of the year. During this review I'm at the top of that scale. There are a lot of reviews saying this is probably too soft for you if you are 180#, which had worried me. The first day with it I was pretty unimpressed. One, it's not vacuum packaged and doesn't plump up like I experienced with other shipped mattresses. It's shape was far from being square, but at least the thickness was pretty uniform. The first night I was on it, I sunk straight through it like it was cotton candy. I was really annoyed and thought that if it doesn't firm up in the next couple days I'm going to send it back. Especially with the dimensional irregularities and bad fit in the cover, it just looks defective. Well, the 2nd night that lack of rigidity almost completely disappeared. After the third, it's become a perfect supportive plush mattress. It supports me enough that I can go to bed with back pain and wake up without it(which is wild), I haven't had hip or knee pain from pressure since using it either. So on comfort, per dollar or not, it's 5/5 for me But I cant give 5 stars to something with such bad quality control. Sure it has a sheet on and I cant tell anymore, but boy did it totally fail on looks with a 2/5 wonky af. There are many factors that affect how you will sink into a foam mattress, room temp is probably a large one(68f here). I don't think people above 180# have much to worry about with the plush mattress, did you know a tank puts less pressure on the earth per square inch of track than a car does with its tires? I got this bed, let it stand alone for over 48 hours. Placed a mattress protector on it, and used it since. There mattress isn’t as plush I would like but it slept pretty decent. I just took the protector off to wash it today and there is mold! I had a bigger spot but I sprayed bleach like a crazy person because I can’t afford a new mattress. I’ve been using foam mattresses for almost 7 years and never encountered this problem. So upset. This is the first really expensive one I bought too. Just fair warning ... show more

I must say that I have purchased Lucid by Linenspa 10" back in 2012, and loved it so much that I bought my mom the same bed in 2019, except it was no longer by Linenspa. The description of the Lucid mattress for both was Medium Firm Feel, and I slept like a baby. I need a new bed and bought Lucid again in February 2023, but this time was Plush Feel, rather than the Medium Firm I had previously. I was so excited to have a new mattress after a decade, and it immediately puffed up to 8 or 9 inches upon opening. There was no smell and never has been in my experience with Lucid. I've waited to write this review because there is always an acclimation period for me with memory foam mattresses, but this one takes the cake. It is the HARDEST mattress I've slept on! Does Lucid know the meaning of Plush??? I wake up with back pains. I don't get a full night's sleep because I have numbing in my legs from this mattress. Worst purchase I've made in 2023 on Amazon. Over 2 months later, and I'm desperately looking for a mattress topper to save me and the physical pain I'm going through. I've had to sleep on my 20 yr old couch for the past couple of weeks, so I can actually get rest. I am not some tiny person either weighing 100lbs, I have substantial weight and the bed is not sinking at all. Plush to me means sleeping on cloud 9 - not a quarry stone. If you are looking for firm as a board memory foam mattress, then look no further. If you want Plush, sink in feeling of being wrapped in a cloud, this ISN'T it. After sleeping on a firm spring mattress for most of my life (not comfortable), I decided it was time for a new mattress because I was not getting great sleep - mainly because of how hard the mattress felt. I hesitated about memory foam, but I gave it a shot anyway. After a few weeks, I have been getting significantly better sleep. I wake up feeling well-rested and less achy. It's taken some getting used to the memory foam and not having any bounciness as a spring mattress, but I have no complaints about that. Unpacking the mattress was pretty simple. It came vacuum compressed and rolled up in a box about 17 x 17 x 42 inches. It fully expanded after a day, but it was off-gassing pretty badly for a few days, requiring me to leave the window open for a few days. My only complaint is the off-gassing, which faded slowly over a month and a half. I think it's because I didn't give the mattress enough time to fully air out and I live in a colder environment. I was finally able to let it air out all the way. I think the off-gassing taking so long was just an error on my end, not giving it more time to air out in the beginning. Original September/2024: My only complaint is the off-gassing, which has been slowly fading away, but is still quite strong after a month. I guess it's because I haven't given the mattress enough time to fully air out and I live in a colder environment. I purchased a space heater to keep my room a bit warmer and will keep the window and door open for ventilation and hope it helps. I will update my review once I can make the odor go away. UPDATE 10/3/24: After running a heater for a few days, washing the sheets, and leaving the sheets off the mattress for a few days, the off-gassing has faded significantly. UPDATE 10/22/24: I gave it another round to air out recently. I took the sheets off and washed them, opened my window and door, and gave it two days to air out. I can confidently say the off-gassing has finally stopped! The bottom of the mattress was still off-gassing a little too so I leaned it against the wall for a day. ... show more
