  • Bright, White Light
Size: 2 Count (Pack of 1)
Bulbs are large but not to large to prevent the umbrella to mount on the light stand. Plenty bright enough for video and photography.

  • I've been using these for years and they're pretty good
Size: 2 Count (Pack of 1)
I use these for jewelry product photography. My dad purchased a pair for me maybe 4 years ago and I used them on and off to take thousands of photographs. I am hoping that the quality is the same as back then. I paid for shipping and after taxes I'm looking at about $20 per light - which is honestly a steal. As long as you're only using these lights when you're ready to take a picture they should last you a very long time. They're also very good for video. Attached are two product photos I took with these lights. Backgrounds have been edited out in Photoshop. Both of mine arrived without issue, and they work fine. I see that some people have said the lights tend to stop working after a few weeks - but I will have to wait and see. For $40 or less for the pair - you should try them out. Also, if you don't have a grey/white card you should use one of the "florescent light" white balance settings in your camera as these lights have a naturally cool tint. ... show more

  • i now have a seeing eye dog... thanks
Size: 2 Count (Pack of 1)
If you dont impale your significant other, or knock over all moms good china carrying one of these bulbs around, and manage to insert it into a socket, and your arms and wrists dont give out before you have completed the required revolutions to power this thing, then watch the F@!# out. these are the biggest brightest cfl bulbs i would imagine in our existence. I felt like i quite possibly had gotten to that same carnival game tom hanks in "Big" gave a shot, because my hands were dwarfed by the sheer mass of the things. And after I got the rigged up, I was blown away. Literally. Im allergic to light. thats not true, but the fact that these bulbs are enormous, and incredibly bright is. The bulbs were well worth the small price tag. I would buy them again in a heartbeat. they are well made, good materials, hardy, dont explode into your face like tiny death shards of mercury and glass, and have lasted quite a long time at consistent brightness. I have lets just say put them to the test, being used in a constant light (as in 24 hours) garden ( i like to grow only vegetation native to northern alaska summers), for a time period of around 2 months now, and they still are within 45 lumens of their original output. (im a scientist, i know these things) but seriously, buy these bulbs for anything you may need a second sun for. they dont get hot to the touch, unlike those evil exploding tungsten bulbs, and they are a hell of a lot cheaper. Buy these.. I did ... show more

  • Been using these for years to light up a greenscreen
Size: 2 Count (Pack of 1)
I've been using these for years to light stuff for a greenscreen, and they work great. I've left them on for probably 8-12 hours a day on average for several years (which has probably not been good for my electricity bill, lol). These are huge (nearly a foot long) and *extremely* bright, although the size doesn't matter for my application. I'm very happy with 6500K light over 5500K or 5000K. I kind of wish these were LEDs instead of CFLs, but it's not a big deal. I'd say to buy them if you're hesitant. ... show more

  • Flickering bulb that broke
Size: 2 Count (Pack of 1)
Like a few other reviews about this product, 1 out of 2 bulbs worked fine. However, the other flickered out of the box and finally burnt out

  • QUITE BIG! WORKS GOOD.
Size: 2 Count (Pack of 1)
You had asked me for my review of this product, so here you are. I just received these 2 Lights in the mail yesterday. When I saw the box they came in I thought "What did I order that big?" Found that it was the lights that I ordered. I didn't think they would be that big! OMG "What did I do?" Was not sure if they would fit into an ordinary light fixture's that I use. I asked about them in the Photo Club I belong too. Was told they should work just fine. Ok. Installed one of them to see what happens. Gotta say 1 thing. They sure a bright enough. 6500 K is very bright! Was told to watch out for the heat they put out. They seem to work just fine for me. Now, I should have no more "yellow" background in my Images! ... show more
