Pay attention to the size. It’s a lot smaller than I’d like....9 inches. I want something that has a curb appeal during the day as well as at night. This is VERY small and will not work for what I’m going for regarding look. Love the design though! Just wish it was larger. It may work for my front door but not for my double garage doors. I will look to see if I can find something similar in design that will work. I am a home builder. I was looking for a nice, quality light that shined up/down. I really liked the square body. But the light itself was poorly made. Not a quality product, as I expected. There are plastic diffusers glued in place over the LED Diodes. They had come unglued and were not attached upon arrival. They used a small rubber o ring around the separate lens to keep water out. Upon manufacturing, the o rings were not installed correctly and actually a couple were missing. I bought 4. So, I took each apart and had to re glue diffusers into correct location and then apply silicon for the o rings.. ... show more

I installed the light outside on the side of my home and within a two weeks the screws began to rust and the rain storm caused lots of water to enter the housing and cause it to short out. Not happy would not recommend!

We bought two of these lights for the posts of our carriage house! The first one lasted maybe 2 weeks. They are not as waterproof as they claim. Water got into the first one and blew. The second one lasted longer but also had issues with water in the light casing. My husband is an electrician and said he will stay away from this brand of lights. Not meant to replace existing porch lights. The brackets are made to line up in any way. I'm very familiar with changing lighting and was able to rig it to make it work but I highly recommend that you go another route if you're doing a do-it your self job.
