    • Ladder looked used
This ladder arrived with no packaging at all. It was very dirty and looked like it had been used. It does not feel sturdy and wobbles. My impression was that it was returned merchandise. Very disappointed.

    • Works but hinge is very stiff
It is the right size, but I'll take credit for selecting the size. It is sturdy and stable. However the mechanism the limits how far it can be opened is very stiff. A lot of teflon and working the hinges on this mechanism loosened it but the not very dull edges on the underside of the mechanism makes it a bit scary to open and close. I think the rivets at the various hinge points are too tight, and the stampings used in the mechanism need a bit of cleaning up. ... show more

    • A good lightweight ladder (5ft)
Mine came in a box and unscathed (several other reviews mentioned unpackaged ladders arriving damaged). It is light weight, and stable when extended. I had some second thoughts as I expanded it, but it feels stable when you're on it, and the features at the top for tools, screws, etc is ingenious. It is 5 ft, and fits easily in an indoor coat closet. ... show more

    • JUST THE LADDER I HOPED IT WOULD BE!
I bought this Ladder to keep indoors (not in the garage with my husbands "stuff" that just gets dirty!! I needed a very sturdy ladder to reach higher places to clean in our home in rooms with higher ceilings. This ladder fit the bill perfectly. It is quite sturdy, and very well built. I used it the next day and it made my cleaning job so much easier than my 2-step Step Stool type ladder I had been using prior. It is sturdy, yet light enough to carry easily even at my age! I like how wide and deep the steps are. I like that it does not have a tray on it, as the areas I need to get the ladder set up in would be a problem doing so, with a tray. Though the top of the ladder has a nice area to place cleaning supplies, rags...etc... Bravo! Love it!! ... show more

    • Save it in your cart for when it goes on sale - great quality
I wanted a ladder so when we start painting the house we'll have a ladder to reach high places. The ladder is not very tall so don't expect to hop on a 1 story roof with it. But for inside reaching high places that a step ladder can't reach is great. We live frugally due to our income. I couldn't afford to justify a $200 ladder but I figured I could start saving for it in time so I put it in the cart for save for later. I was really happy to get a notification from amazon that the price was going down $75 for a limited time. Not sure why but I jumped on that deal and dropped it on a credit card. Now I have a ladder ready to go for when we start painting in a couple months. Turns out you can do this with any items in your cart! ... show more

    • Great value
Needed a ladder to patch some holes made by brad nails so I primed this bad boy and in 2 days I was done... only problem I’ve had with it was the hinges don’t collapse as easily as other ladders but that’s the only gripe and it’s not much of one

    • A great ladder for man or woman
I love love love this ladder. It is light enough for me to easily carry myself (120-lb woman), is a decent height, and seems quite sturdy. It was a great replacement for the old rickety ladder I was using. The bright yellow color is fun.

    • Let's get to the top
Lightweight and sturdy, yes. But the plastic top platform is flimsy. I've used the ladder 4-5 times and there is a gash/scrape to the surface that is surprising in its size and depth. I have no idea what I could have done to cause it either. Also- other brands also offer add-ons that increase the utility of their ladders. I have found none for Louisville products. ... show more
