There is one thing that could be improved and that's if the snap on valance would wrap around to cover the brackets but it's not a deal breaker. I had one minor issue though, one of the tilt wands was broken when we received it but I cont

I absolutely love these blinds!

I really love these blinds, great quality, very sturdy, and they fit my window perfectly! They arrived very well packaged and were in perfect condition. They did take several months to arrive due to being out of stock, but that's happening everywhere these days so understandable. They were definitely
worth the wait! They were very easy to install and instructions were easy to follow. My window width is exactly 30" wide and they fit perfectly. I chose to mount them from the top corners of the window. They aligned nice and straight in the window and operate smoothly when opening and closing. (You may notice some extra slats at the bottom. That was my choice to get the standard out-of-the-box cut, they will custom cut to fit your window length exactly if requested. I don't mind the extra slats, it works just fine.) They feel very sturdy and are a nice quality, with a good weight. The slats are a good thickness. And they look beautiful! I took one star off of my rating because the blinds are supposed to be white, but they are really a light tan or ivory color. The box says they are white, and the picture on the box looks white, but the blinds themselves are clearly not (see my second pic, compare color of blinds to the white moulding around the window.) This was not a huge issue for me because I don't mind the color, but others might be unhappy if they really want white blinds. Other than the color issue, these are awesome blinds and I highly recommend!

I had to hammer one of the sides in to get it past the screws. But it was easy to do and you can’t te

I am refurbishing an apartment that I put in for my mother. These blinds strangely came in on what would have been her 97th birthday. I haven't put the blinds up yet but I can say this: They are superior to the same faux wood ones that I am replacing. They are more sturdy. They are more attractive. I
have read the install instructions and have no doubt the install will be a snap. I took the blinds out and the fit is perfect. Everything so far is exactly as I expected. If I remember correctly, the blinds I had before were a little more expensive. Regardless, I checked out plenty of blinds and sizes. These were the best in reviews, quality and value.` If by some reason I encounter a snag. No worries. Amazon has a return and replacement policy that is non-plussed. I am a senior with some health issues. Amazon is a Godsend for me. I get everything I possibly can through Amazon. Amazon Fresh has made my life so much better too. There are no words to tell you how I dreaded going to the market. It was so difficult, painful and exhausting. I need groceries. My friends at Amazon will bring them shortly. Plus, I just have to spend $35 for free delivery. When a person is older or has health problems and lives alone, Amazon is the ticket!

I was replacing a really old set...I mean a blinds set that was installed probably back in 2000, so about 20 years old. They've really improved these units since then. This one fit perfectly in the brackets installed for the old set so installation was a snap. If you have to install this unit fresh,
you'll need to drive screws for the brackets into the side of the window area but it's not too bad; once you're done with that the blinds slip right into the bracket. My understanding is that another way these blinds have improved over the years is in their ability to resist fading. The old set started out white but faded into an ugly stale beige. They also got brittle. These newer ones are supposed to be longer lasting. I guess time will tell. Finally, the newer blind technology is cordless, meaning that the long strings that used to hang down from the blinds so you could pull them up have been replaced with an integrated suspension system. Now you just pull down or lift up the bottom of the blind to adjust the height. I don't actually know if this is better or worse than before; it looks nicer without cords hanging down, and some say it is safer for pets and kids, but some others have complained about the poor reliability of this mechanism. Time will tell. For now, I'm happy these blinds were reasonably priced and seem to be working.

Due to small width these blinds DO NOT MOVE UP OR DOWN - THEY ONLY TILT. *DON’T FORGET TO REMOVE CARDBOARD INSIDE METAL HEADRAIL (Top part) the blinds come bound up by the cords inside the head
rail, once you carefully unwind them from the cardboard the blinds will open up to their full length. Great quality!
