  • PLEASE NOTE: This blind is 46.5" wide to allow for mounting the blind inside a 47" wide window. Each blind will be 1/2-INCH NARROWER than the width ordered to fit inside the window frame. Sizes stated within the product descriptions are listed by width then height. See measuring instructions to ensure best fit.
  • MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS: To determine the width measure inside of the window opening from left to right at the top, middle, and bottom. Record the narrowest measurement. For best fit, find the size with a width closest to your measurement. The height of the blind will be the longest measurement from top to bottom. A blind with a height longer than your recorded measurement will work as the blind can be stopped at any position within the window frame.
  • INSIDE & OUTSIDE MOUNT: This blind is suitable for inside and outside mounting of a window frame. Inside mount means completely installing the blind inside the window frame. For depth it is recommended for the window frame to be at least 1-1/2 deep for a flush inside mount. For mounting outside of the window frame, measure your window opening and add three inches.
  • CORDLESS DESIGN: The new child safe design features a cordless operation lift system eliminating the need for cords allowing the blind to be raised and lowered with just a touch.
  • HARDWARE & INSTRUCTIONS: Your blind will include instructions and hardware for both inside or outside mounting.

I wanted to replace our very strong, good metal blinds that were beginning to not work properly, chose these as friends said they buy vinyl ones instead of the metal. We are extremely disappointed and very unhappy. We replaced 8 window blinds with these. They have not even lasted 4 months and are falling apart. The strings easily cut through the vinyl slats and begin to "tear" it. Then if you want to "peek thru a slat to look outside...LOOK OUT...the slats break! We've had 4 now that have broken slats. IF you get one slight tiny bend in a slat...they break and fall off. We are on tight retirement income & wasted $500! HORRIBLE blinds. DO NOT BUY THEM. THEY WILL NOT LAST YOU VERY LONG. Not fair to customers and especially like us, we can't afford to replace with better ones now as we've lost all this money. ***UPDATE*** After speaking with customer support from Lotus, I must say they are very kind and are standing by their products. He said they should not be breaking like they are and they are going to replace all of our blinds. So, I will say, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY GOOD. ... show more

I would give this product 5 stars if no for the mechanism to adjust the slats seemed sub par and concerns me about the longevity of it working. It could be that it was my item having a fault that would not be a common issue. Otherwise it was exactly as described and I’m happy with it.

42" blinds are kind of hard to find. I am very happy to have found these. They were easy to install, and the brackets seem to be very strong. The blinds look great and are SO easy to pull up and down. Such a great improvement over the ones with the 3 strings that had to all be pulled at the same time. This was a replacement for 1" metal blinds. Standard mini-blinds weren't available for a couple of months, so I wasn't sure the quality I would get once I ordered. Not hard to install, just be aware you cannot place center clip directly on center, clip has to hook to front ridge which cannot be done in exact center. Learn the hard way and had to reposition center clip, other than that it was simple

I have never installed mini blinds myself. The setup instructions and illustrations for the brackets are poor. I requested better instructions at websales@lotusblind.com> and they sent me the same installation instructions. After fudging with the brackets I figured it out and work fine. If you have installed blinds before this is going to be a breeze. Good product for the money but was frustrating installing them. ... show more
