I needed this specific measure to cover a recessed bathroom window, but the only available 22x36" long blinds were designed for entry way doors and very expensive because they included a glass frame. I looked into RV blinds and corded types but couldn't find any because of the new safety... RESTRICTIONS. So I made due with cordless which gave me problems as the entire cord winding anchor slipped out when I test fit the unit to the top mount. It wasn't easy winding it back because the unit uses gravity to stretch the end cord length. After finally figuring that problem out I tried clamping the unit using the inside top mount configuration and the mounting tab would not snap under the top rail. Out came the pliers and a trip to the vise. Sometimes all you need to do is to set things straight. The unit snapped right in and is secure. But I'm still skeptical about the durability of continuous pulling on a design that used to be much simpler and used natural gravity to hold its shape. Terrible terrible terrible. I have a bathroom window that is an odd size and this company has the only blind that will potentially fit it without buying expensive custom blinds. Instead I had to buy expensive blinds from this supplier. The mounting brackets that come with these blinds are worthless and you are going to be so angry at yourself for not listening to the other reviewers. It seems obvious the brackets are designed for a completely different set of blind. No amount of bending is going to make them work so they are getting returned and I guess I'll just not have window covers. TLDR - DO NOT BUY THESE BLINDS - THE MOUNTING BRACKETS DO NOT FIT. ... show more

    • Installation is difficult

The product works and looks great. The problem is the installation and how you have to snap it into place. This can cause the aluminum to bend and then you have to take it down, unbend a try again. They should have a type of latch you just move into position.

The hanging brackets do not fit the blinds. Blinds is keep falling off from the brackets. I have installed them according to the diagram instructions. Cheap material do not buy.

These blinds are on our bedroom window. When closed, they eliminate the glare on the TV. They are easy to open and adjust. We like the metal blinds because our cat will not try to chew on them!
