I had used dandruff shampoos for almost 30 years thinking I had dandruff or dry scalp. In talking with my hairdresser, she said my hair was actually very oily at the root, but dry on the tips due to the product I put in it. She suggested looking into this Loreal shampoo and said that it would get rid of my dandruff type symptoms due to the moisturizers in this shampoo. I have been using it for 2 weeks now, and no more itchy, flakey scalp unless I don't wash my hair for a day. This shampoo is very thick and lathers nicely. My hair is soft and easily manageable when I am done washing it. I don't even need to use conditioner any longer as this shampoo is not 2 in 1, but certainly has moisturizers in it. Thanks to my hairdresser for recommending this shampoo, and to Loreal for making such a great product! ... show more

I love pretty much everything about this shampoo! I just wish it were more readily available! I began using this several years ago when I found it at our local Walmart... Of course, as is with anything you find there and really like, they stopped carrying it 😡 After tirelessly searching all the other local stores in my town, I finally took to the Internet and was ecstatic to finally find this again... And it was priced the same or cheaper in some cases (when I first found it on Amazon)... Now, it's outrageously priced and I think it has been reformulated because, although it still works well, it doesn't work as wonderfully as it used to. It still smells fantastic and still lathers really well, however, my hair doesn't stay as oil-free for as long as it did when I first started using it years ago. And I know you have to switch shampoos around every once in awhile to avoid a buildup, which I do, but this still doesn't help me go as long in between washes as as it used to, which means I have to wash more often and it doesn't last as long. I still absolutely love this shampoo and still prefer it over every other shampoo I have tried over the many, many years of having oily hair (I'm 51, so I've tried LOTS). I just wish I could find it more easily, various sizes, at a better price, or at least if I'm forced to buy it in conjunction with another bottle, as in a two pack, I'd much rather be purchasing two shampoos instead of one shampoo and one conditioner. As long as I can still find this product, at a decent price, I will keep purchasing. I would definitely recommend this product! ... show more

I have been using this shampoo and the accompanying conditioner (haven’t tried the mask) for probably 2 years now. Who knows what time means any more but it was definitely many months before the pandemic started. Anyways, I have fine hair and the greasy roots/dry ends that go with it. It has improved with the following changes: moved to Colorado (obviously I didn’t move for my hair but wanted to set expectations for my former-fellow Floridians or Texans-The only thing that helped there was a literal perm), use this shampoo/conditioner (some times I change it up with a heavier conditioner in the dry months, but sometimes I think that is worse), progressively stretched out the time between washes, and moved dry shampoo to before bed. I used to wash my hair every day because it was so greasy by 5pm after washing that morning. I realized that was only drying my hair out more, causing more grease, etc etc. So I started doing dry shampoo before bed (often even the night I washed it), which helps to absorb excess oil overnight and leave my hair fresher in the morning. For a while I had to accept that day 2 or 3 was always a pony tail/bun day, but I held strong and over time my hair was still decent to wear down on the 3rd or 4th day. Only recently (2 years later) am I able to get 5-6 days between washes, and doing dry shampoo maybe 2-3 nights of that. In short, this shampoo/conditioner isn’t a miracle, and there are some questions about whether it is truly silicone free per other reviewers. In combination with other strategies my hair is better when I use this, so I’ll be sticking to it until someone can convince me of a better solution. ... show more
