This tarp is well worth the cost. It isn't the nicest tarp you'll ever own, but it is definitely better quality than I expected for the cost. We used it to go under a puppy pen to protect our floor from a litter of pups and it did well.

I use this tarp as a wind/rain screen on the SE side of my chicken coop/lot. The camo colors were great until exposure to a couple months of sunshine, then the green colors morphed into blues. So, apparently the UV protection doesn't apply to the original color. The quality - otherwise - is acceptable. I live in the woods, so no big deal on the color fading. Just be aware that the original colors will fade. I'll simply buy a solid color next time. ... show more

Tarp discolored after a month or 2. I purchased 2 sizes at the same time. See 1st pic with camo original color protected by "blue" camo on top. I did not buy blue. This was not an ultimate deal breaker since it worked as intended. My bigger issue is the protective plastic top layer delaminated / disintegrated (2nd pic)... causing tons of plastic pieces (some sliver size, some larger chunks) to peel off and get blown around Everywhere! And layer is so thin & brittle by now, it had a tendancy to crumble even smaller when trying to pick up. I didn't have anything to replace larger tarp with so I delt with daily clean up till most peeled off. Rendering the tarp less effective in a rainforest without the layer. To sum up: tarp works well if Not used in strong sun (I am at 2k elevation). 2nd tarp wasn't used for same purpose, kept mostly in shade, color slowly changing in parts more exposed to sun, but no peeling yet. Still in good condition maintaining durability & sturdiness. Which is why 3 stars - just because didn't work as needed in my extreme situation doesn't make it bad product per say. If you want camo to help Hide something, better not be in direct sunlight. Color changing on me was annoying since I purchased green camo for a reason, but having to pick up tiny pieces of waffer thin plastic Everyday was the absolute worst. Wouldn't buy again for exposed coverage use but reasonably priced if covering something in shade. ... show more

We like these tarps and bought them to help protect our firewood piles. We bought the same tarp in June and October of this year and the older one is holding up fine so far but there is a noticable fade from brown to blue. It doesn't bother us and it doesn't really surprise me for a product that's out in the sun and rain all the time. No rips yet and that's my main requirement but it's only been 5 months. ... show more

I purchased this to cover a wood pile. While it works well and is a solid tarp, the color has changed from woodland camo to funky blue. Be aware. if it doesn't bother you, it's a perfectly good tarp.
