NOTE: shutter widths and heights can vary +/- 0.75".
- INCLUDES INSTALLATION HARDWARE: Each pair of window shutters includes Shutter Plugs, Screws & Caps. For the shutter plugs, each box comes with 12 plugs (6 per shutter). Each plug is color-matched to provide a clean, sleek appearance. For the screws & caps, each box comes with 12 screws and caps (6 per shutter). Drilling required. Once attached, color-matched caps can be press-fit over the screw head for easier installation.

After some research, I found that painting white exterior shutters in a dark color can cause warping, buckling, and bending due to heat absorption from the sun. The black cosmos paintable shutters were the perfect solution to this problem. Because they are already black, painting them another dark color (SW Iron Ore) was less likely to cause this issue. In addition we used vinyl safe paint to further mitigate that risk. We are confident these shutters will withstand the Colorado sun on our west facing home. We are very pleased with this purchase.
