For the price, this was an excellent purchase. Old CD's are like old pictures on your phone, we seldom go back and review them, but when we want to go old school on our CD's, this player is a perfect for the purpose and budget.

This was selected as a Christmas gift for my wife so I couldn't tell what to expect until it was opened and begun using. I was extremely surprised at how wonderful this unit sounded and the five pre-set EQ levels were more than enough and balanced better than many units of a similar idea I had heard. This was replacing an old Sony Bookshelf stereo system that did not ever sound this good. Components are generally comparable with units of this nature, but what you hear are the speaker systems. This product had better component availability/options and speakers that have an amazing clarity. Longevity is something I cannot attest to as it is too early to tell, but so far she is very happy with her gift.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this LONPOO last Christmas for myself. Used it twice during the holidays. Just recently I noticed it started making noise and not working anymore. Not sure what happened. This was safely placed on shelf in dining area. I can’t return it nor use it. Not sure what to do. Trying to reach out to seller for help. Please advise.

Way better than expected Quality is far above those in the similare price range Easy to use, I got this for my mom who isnt tech savy and she can easily use the remote Size, the larger size is an added perk. More sound, quite rich Volume Dial, this acutally is a wonderful feature so many dont have one Buttons on device and remote are a bit small but you can get a universal remote and use this just fine if you are having issues clicking stuff

I’ve had a lot of stereo equipment over the years and size maters. If you want room shaking bass you must have large bass speakers in well designed cabinets. Resonates must be flat with little peaks or valleys. Some small “boom boxes” get the “thump” by peaking resonance that’s not actually related to the real frequency of the music. It’s a trick to make you believe it’s actually a real musical note. The lower the frequency, the worse it becomes. That said, some small devices like this one, give you enough low end without distortion. Not deep bass because it is impossible with 4 inch speakers. But it is accurate to the mid lows so you get a better sense of the music. This unit has a line input and Bluetooth so you can connect accessories. The CD player is functional and easy to use. The FM is a bit clunky to program but delivers good sound. The remote does the job. Overall, this is a very nice unit that pulls above its weight and the price is very reasonable. It looks good too.

This unit was purchased to take the place of a Bose Wave System IV I purchased 3 years ago that never lived up to its name or the Bose reputation. The Lonpoo 816 is a very stylish, solid looking unit. The remote control aside from it being shipped without the 2 AAA batteries worked flawlessly and was easy to use. The sound quality of the surround sound put my Bose to shame, and I liked being able to adjust the sound quality to the type of music being played. CD drive worked well, and playback quality of my recorded CD’s was excellent. It paired with my Bluetooth perfectly and I was able to stream all my Apple Music as well as Sirius XM channels without any problems. Set up very easy. The best part, I payed 5 times less for this unit than my Bose when it was purchased.
