I looked at just about every drafting chair that Amazon offers at least ten times each. I was replacing a high-quality drafting chair I have been using every day for sixteen years, so it had to be right. Firstly, the seat itself is very large: 21" x 20" and thick and comfortable. The spread on the armrests is almost 21", so very roomy and nicely padded. The back is mesh and very nice. But the best is the lumbar pillow. This chair helps you to sit properly; when you slide your lower back against the lumbar support you will sit up straight. The chair raises and lowers nicely, and the lock for the back is very solid. My only negative is that the footrest ring is really high - I will try to take it off and flip it over and see if that helps. But since the only negative does not affect the function of the chair itself, It's pretty inconsequential. This is a very comfortable and well-built chair and I'm hoping that it will last another sixteen years. ... show more

I was skeptical about what I would get at this price point but am pleasantly surprised. It creaks a little when you rock, but not too much. V sturdy, posture feels great. Recommend it for sure if you’re looking for a high office chair.

I spent a ton of time looking for office chairs over the last several months as my old one was giving out. On the 11th hour of Cyber Monday 2022, I pulled the trigger on this one and am happy with it, for the price, so far. I had no trouble assembling the chair, it was fairly easy and everything lined up for me. This is definitely as chair for taller and potentially heavyset people, which is what I was looking for. As far as quality goes, I have sat in a lot of chairs of varying quality, I would rate this as good value for the money and does have a budget chair feel. The hardware parts seem to be sturdy and seem like they will last for a few years. However there are bit of plastic where you might get metal on a more premium chair but at least it is sturdy feeling plastic. The fabric itself has a budget chair feel, you get what you pay for. Cushioning is comfortable out of the box, we will see how it ages. There is a good chance this chair will do well over time but only time will tell, I will update the review if something changes on this chair. I bought this chair on a recommendation of my co-worker. I had to sit in his once and instantly fell in love. We also upgraded it with skating wheels so it moves very smoothly. I love this chair!

Glad I caught it on sale and didn't pay full price. The back is super uncomfortable and doesn't stay in place. And the seat itself feels like it tips forward.
