Unfortunately this product does not live up to expectations and I do not recommend. I had really high hopes and am quite disappointed. I am also a bit embarrassed since my wife warned me to return it immediately. I am glad that I waited for time to pass before submitting a review. I have wasted a lot of bread and bagels because the "lighter" settings result in too dark and burnt bread and bagels as recent as this morning (I have pictures of the burnt toast). The timer is not reliable. When I relied on the timed feature, my bread or bagels would burn. I know the deadline for return has long passed, but I needed time for the product to work. If it can be returned for a credit that would be appreciated. Thank you.

Replace a four slot old Black& Decker stainless steel toaster with this new two slot longer style toaster decided to go with the new fancy touch screens because you know why not and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the settings match the actual final product and just how nice the product actually really is well. It's very skeptical at first and did look at many different ones before purchasing this particular one. However, that being said, this was a great purchase and it has been working excellently for several months now. They can handle pretty much any size piece of bread you decide to put in there. Granted it's not too thick but lengthwise any low. Any round you can slice up and put in here and it does adjust time based off of use. For example, if you toast a piece of bread in it says 3 minutes remaining and then you do another set of bread right after that on the same setting it will reduce time because of already being warm from previous cycle. It is pretty spot on!

Revised review: August 24, 2025 After my original review, the company reached out to me to make sure I would understand that it was not intentional to have their product malfunction. They were kind, professional, and speedy in handling my problem. They definitely solved my problem in a nost satisfactory way. In the future I would reconsider buying a different product from them. Original review after receiving the product: I was hoping that this would be like the three Breville toasters I have had over the years, but alas, I was disappointed. I put it on the lowest setting and it still burns the toast and does not toast evenly.

The media could not be loaded. I received this toaster in mid-July 2025, and unfortunately I’m very disappointed with the quality. Despite being advertised as stainless steel, the toaster has already started rusting on the sides and even in the middle. I have only cleaned it using appropriate cleaning products and methods, yet it’s clearly deteriorating far too fast. I’ve owned other Cuisinart toasters in the past, and I never experienced anything like this, which makes this especially frustrating. Another issue is the temperature control. Even on level one or two, the toaster runs extremely hot and often burns the bread more than desired. Sometimes we just want lightly toasted bread, but that’s difficult to achieve with this model. That said, the design is beautiful — very sleek and modern — and I do appreciate how narrow and space-saving it is, which makes it perfect for smaller countertops. Overall, while the design is great, the rusting and overly aggressive toasting are major drawbacks that make this toaster hard to recommend.
