I’m giving 5 stars because it’s beautiful, comfortable and well made. It sheds something awful though. Still worthy of 5 stars but you better have a good vacuum. Update: we’ve had this rug for over 6 months now and the shedding is still so unreal that I’m having to replace it which as you can imagine is very frustrating. But I have two young children and seeing the fibers all over their hair clothes eyes and faces when they play on it is just unacceptable. ... show more

I purchased this rug despite a few negative reviews. This rug is very well made and surpassed my expectations. It was wrapped carefully. I didn’t notice a smell and no excessive shedding was observed. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This rug is so beautiful and I LOVE how it looks in my home. But I now have a brand new home that no longer smells fresh and new, but literally like a petting zoo. This rug looks beautiful and durable. Every time I vacuum it, lots of particles come up from the rug. I’m not sure if over time this will affect the quality, but it certainly is a lot of material. It’s slightly scratchy and you may find pieces of the material in your clothes from it.
