The Anniston Collection is a washable rug with traditional motifs in beautifully saturated and distressed tones. This durable area rug is power- loomed of polyester and designed for the busiest rooms of the home—living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, hallways, and more. It can be washed in a home washing machine without an agitator, depending on the size. After always insisting on wool rugs, I finally gave up on the shedding. This rug is thin (which is what I wanted) and soft. I like that it’s washable. NO shedding. This rug is very affordable, and the patterns are beautiful. Even though it’s quite thin, it initially stayed flat on the floor, and I absolutely loved it. However, after the first wash, it started developing waves and wrinkles and no longer lays flat like it did before. I have 3 sizes of another Loloi rug that I LOVE (The Chris Loves Julia Ocean rug) and I was hoping to use my runner in my kitchen. But.. it's not washable. I found this one and it says it's washable, and the colors were absolutely perfect for my kitchen. I was concerned when people were calling it a 'floor blanket,' thinking it would be too thin and slide around alot, but it's not! Yes, it's thin compared to traditional rugs, but its definitely not so thin that it looks anything like a blanket or has crease marks. The backing, for the most part, keeps it in place. And most amazingly, it is very easy to vacuum! I have a Dyson V15 which has a lot of suction, but on the Eco setting, it doesn't pull the rug at all and it's easy to vaccuum on a daily basis. I may end up doing a pad in the future just for the extra comfort, but right now I'm loving the ease of being able to shake it out occasionally.. it's just simple. The price was amazing. This rug is beautiful! I laid it over a piece of carpet padding so it has some nice cushion. A little tricky to vacuum near corners and edges, but I just make my husband stand on the areas. I’ve had it down for about 10 days and it’s just about flat. It comes folded in a box.

I could not be happier with this rug! It’s so hard to accurately judge colors and texture online, but this rug exceeded my expectations in all ways! I had recently put a slip cover on my sofa and wanted to tie all of my furniture together and this rug accomplished that perfectly! I would highly recommend anyone! I bought the largest size and yes, the folds were slightly annoying but once the furniture was in place they have come out and are hardly noticeable anymore. I always read reviews before I buy any product from Amazon and I appreciate it when someone takes the time to include photos. I hope these pics help someone envision this rug in their space! One final thought – the dark color around the edge and throughout the rug is an interesting shade - I have pushed it to dark blue with all of my accessories (pillows, throws, candles, etc) but it could go to black if someone wanted it to push it that way. ... show more
