Out of the box, the cushions are darker beige than pictured but not bad. The seat cushion is thin and since the seat is bars not straps will require thicker cushions for optimal comfort. It is difficult for one person to put together but should be fine for 2 people. I could not get the screws tight enough but my husband was able to. We have not used it yet, will wait for warmer weather. The frame is black which is what we wanted and overall seems very sturdy. I really like the black tempered glass. It is heavy and nice quality for the money. The vendor emailed us and let us know when it was shipped and the tracking numbers. ... show more

It took me a few hours to put everything together. Once I got to the second chair, things went faster. When attaching the bottom of the chair to the base, I found it difficult to get all four screws in for my second chair. I also had some difficulty attaching the arms b/c the screws didn't want to go all the way in. One kept popping out. I did a good job, considering I'm not the most experienced at putting things together but it definitely takes much effort to assemble. Also, the boning of the chair digs into the back of my thighs when getting up my, which is uncomfortable. Table was easier to assemble, but it is wobbly. ... show more

Table is physically sturdy (top scratches easily though) and has been a good addition to my small porch. Definitely needed two people to assemble. You'll also probably want folding hex-key (L wrench) set to make assembly easier. The instructions were mislabeled and out of order. The instructions on the page would not match the diagrams (i.e. instead matching the next pages diagrams) and the instruction book mislabeled the screws and washers. After it's put together it's nice. But as a single mom with no one to help me it really sucked grappling with this set to put it together. I am extremely handy, more so than most. Directions did not match the labeled screw set that came with it so that took some mulling over before beginning. I'm just thankful it's done and up. Would buy again if I had to but....just be prepared to have two ppl just in case. I'm Stubborn so....touché ... show more
