These speakers were above my expectations, however they aren't the best on the market. They are great for gaming, with clear sound and very loud volume. They are also great for general music listening, however you may want to look elsewhere if you listen to music that is bass-heavy, as these don't handle bass very well, especially at higher volumes. ... show more

Like a dummy, I ordered these in order to give myself a non-headset option on my desk, and to save some cable space with the wireless capabilities. Unfortunately because you have a wire that chains the two speakers together and a power cable, you aren't really saving yourself any effort with cable management, you would still have the same amount of cables if you'd just got some USB speakers. But I'll take the L on that, I didn't do the most critical thinking with my purchase. That said, I don't regret the purchase. They have reasonable sound for the price point and have a form factor that doesn't take up too much room on the desk. There are two issues, one larger, one minuscule. The bigger issue is that the wire that runs between the two speakers is pretty short, all things considered. My desk is 60-inches in width and is a standing desk and its about at its limit. If you have a larger area you want to use these in, you might re-think. The second issue, is admittedly very tiny, but it bothers me more than anything else... that's how life be. The issue is that the notch on the volume knob that indicates where your volume level is, is completely black, just like the rest of the speaker. Without touching the thing like a nasty little nipple boy, I have no idea where the volume level is. I'd love to have seen an LED there, or at least some white paint on the dot. These sound really great and are reasonably priced. Just one issue, the sound quality is muffled when plugged into the audio jack, but I have a usb converter that I use instead, and the sound is crisp and clear via usb.
