At 165 pounds, 5'6", I am usually a size L and that's what the size chart suggested. I wanted to leave room for a warm sweater, so I ordered XL. It was super-tight, so I returned it for an XXL (biggest size I've ever owned...LOL), and it was a perfect fit. No idea if the zipper will hold up over time, but the jacket seems like good quality. This is actually a really nice fall jacket. The fake leather they used doesn't insulate as well as other types of fake leather, but it's tough and slick as a riding jacket should be. The zip-in hood is nice, as well. It extends down to your waist with hidden zippers, so it looks like you have a separate hoodie. Great for cool, but not cold days. When it's colder, you'll need to layer especially with long sleeves. Some of the pockets are false. The ones that aren't are tiny. You'll need a separate bag for your phone. The only real complaint I have other than pocket size is zipper quality. The two main zippers snag on the teeth all the time. I fixed this by jamming a pencil into the gliders and zipping/unzipping repeatedly. Pencil "lead" is just waxed graphite so it makes a good dry lubricant. Just remember to wipe any extra pencil lead off of the zipper if you use this fix. The pencil marks aren't visible, but they will turn your thumb gray. Overall, a decent buy. I turn heads every time I wear it, and the stitching is heavy enough that I expect the jacket to last a while. The liner is thin and slick, so it's great for layering and should work well with a hoodie and a couple of layers into the winter. It does a decent, but imperfect job of blocking wind. A little leaks through because there are so many seams, but not enough to make a big difference. ... show more

I'm so happy with this jacket. I had originally gotten it in a medium--I'm 5'1" and petite, but rather busty. The medium was nicely fitted in the waist, but was a bit tight in the chest and shoulders when it was zipped up. I returned that and reordered in a large (returning was simple and quick too, so that's a plus!). The large is a much better fit, especially for when I start wearing bulkier sweaters underneath. I do wish it was just a tad longer--it hits me just above the widest part of my hips. I would say it runs fairly true to size, so long as you like slim-fit jackets. If you like it a little loose, get a size up. I like how it tapers at the waist a bit, making it super flattering rather than boxy, even in a slightly baggier size. This is a jacket that, the second you put it on, you know you look and feel cool. I'm super surprised with how warm this jacket is too--it's way heavier than it looks, and though the zip-in hoodie part is only a few inches wide, it's thicker than I expected and warm. The faux leather is butter soft, it could easily be mistaken for real leather. It did have a small amount of plastic-y smell when it came out of the box, but a warm damp cloth run over it took care of it. The zippers on the pockets are a little stiff, but at least I know that nothing will fall out. The chest zipper pockets are just for show--no actual pocket there, but the normal pockets are a good size, where I could stuff both my keys and phone in one without visible bulkiness. I am an XL, and order 1 size larger, but it was still too tight. I took it on vacation when I went because I received it the day I was leaving for vacation. I had no choice but to wear it. I can barely close the jacket even with on layer of clothing such as a shirt. If I wear a sweater, I have to leave it open. It is a good thing that I can handle the cold. It is a beautiful, well-made jacket, but order 2 size larger then it should fit perfectly. ... show more

At first I was skeptical, especially with jackets. I have broad shoulders and I like to try my jackets on first, but this came in the nick of time before my trip and it worked out perfectly. The fit was perfect! It came down perfect to my waist. It came up a little higher above my hands but I was fine with that. The leather seems legit, and the stitching was nice. Silk type material on the interior and the pockets were comfy and able to zip. I was able to move around as normal in the jacket.. I do love this jacket and glad it was perfect! It also kept me warm, a good jacket for those still cold spring nights! ... show more
