  • UPGRADE FEATURES: The adhesive was upgraded for long and durable holding, residue/mess free and upgraded the thickness from 0.9mm to 1.1mm to eliminate flipping and rolling issue. LLPT silicone door sealing tape is replaced with high density liquid silicone to form a solid construction that it can stay in shape in cold or hot temperature, which would not be cold shrunk or heat expanded. For some surface if the tape does not work, spray Adhesion-PROMOTER first then stick the tape.
  • ROHS MATERIAL: LLPT Silicone Strip Tape is constructed from liquid silicone, high density for long durability, but still flexible enough to cover curved edges; ROHS certified and non-toxic to be used for every room at home; 10% UV stabilizer is applied in the material, which can last years for yellow aging, but LLPT still recommend to use this product in door only (room temperature) to keep the adhesive bonding stable.
  • WIDE APPLICATION: LLPT Silicone Weather Stripping Tape is designed to stop drafts, block light, cold or heat from door crack, dust, wind, buges and so on. Clean surface and make sure the tape you have is not wrinkled first, stick the adhesive side to frame of door or window first with hard press to whole surface of tape and wait for 2 hours to maximize the holding strength by curing, do not try to pull the tape during this period or allow any force to pull away the adhesive.

HOW TO MAKE IT WORK: : 1. Measure the gap and door or window frame to choose the right size you need, the adhesive side needs to stick on to frame, none adhesive is to cover the gap. 2. Clean the frame (Not good for textured surface), stick the adhesive with hard press. 3. Leave the strip there for 2 hours for durable bonding. GAP COVERAGE: : 1.4” is suitable for gap between 0- 0.80”. 1.8” is suitable for gap between 0-1.18”. 2.2” is suitable for gap between 0-1.37” . . Adhesion differed from door to door, first 2 23-in lengths were dry had to add glue. The middle roll were great and stuck perfect, cut easy, but placing them killed my back. Better if you have taken the door off or have not hung it yet. It's touch for us oldies to sit on the floor and lean forward with arms out. I have a spine fusion. It'd be cool if they made a device to help pt it on like a tape holder with guides. Still those that did get spatula'd on stuck best. I took a roller for t-shirts and rolled over it to get air out. I also heated the last ones with a heat gun pushing with the roller worked great. I love the clear and will still try to work with it because it's the best I've found in years. I also added a door threshold brush over the tape using it as insulation. It's the best method so far-if you install on opposite it always traps leaves and wind blown dirt...dust bunnies are more like dust Sasquatches. Will and am buying more! Still wish it was a touch more aggressive adhesive though. ... show more

Purchased to seal off bottom of doors in a 100 yr old house. The product cut easily to size, and stuck to the doors without any reinforcement. I even used it on the outswing metal basement door. With the recent snow, rain, and sub-zero temps, still sticking.

Using this around dog door to help reduce the cold breeze constantly coming in. It’s reduced it enough to notice but the adhesion is only lasting a month before I have to replace, the roll is long enough that I’ll have at least a year worth of tape

    • It's a hot or miss

This has been a hit or a miss for the pass few orders. Sometimes it works and sometimes it will not stay up. I have cleaned the suffances with bleach let dry and install the tape. Come back next day maybe it was still up, maybe not. It's a weird thing.

I could see outside light thru edge of door. This completely covered this problem, but the next day it had fallen off from top of both doors. I had to put back with thumb tacks.
