We have a smaller living room with four 80+ pound dogs. At one time we had a large Ikea sectional with washable covers, but washing those covers was a pain in the butt and they didn't stand up well to the dogs' constant abuse (and my husband wanted a recliner). So we got rid of the sectional and got the dogs a smaller loveseat with an ottoman, and again washable covers. It's impossible with this many dogs to keep covers clean for very long, and there just wasn't enough seating for when we had visitors. So the hunt was on to find a couch with a chaise that I again could try and keep clean. (Yes, I'm aware we could have trained them to stay off the furniture - we aren't that kind of household though). After much deliberation, I settled on this couch. The storage under each seat was a huge draw, as was the fact that it's modular. I ordered a 3rd ottoman that is being used by my chair, and that can be slid in the gap if we want to use the couch for movie nights or sleepovers. The prospect of being able to WIPE the couch clean instead of having to wash covers and hang them to dry was enticing. Now I just have to see how it holds up to dog claws. We have temporarily covered each base in a velour cover while the dogs adjust to the new furniture. I will update after a few months, or however long it takes them to destroy it! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Update: it's been over a year and this is still the same condition as it was when I bought it. Cleans so easily, vacuums really well, especially when it comes to fur. And hasn't lost its shape at all. I just added another piece to make it longer. Would purchase again I am very pleased with my modular sectional purchase. The fabric is softer than I had expected. I was expecting more of a vinyl type material so I was pleasantly surprised by the soft texture. The structure and design is exactly what I have been looking for. I love the option of turning my couch into a large bed for movie nights with the family! There was very little assembly required which made this the easiest couch I've ever put together. I'm happy with the storage option and even though the sofa is more on the firm side, it is perfect for my needs and feels like it will hold up well and not lose its shape anytime soon. ... show more

Fun couch for a beach house! I bought 2 sets and there are loads of configurations for parties, naps, cozy movie nights, etc. It was very well packaged and easy to put together. The couch is waterproof and withstands damp bathing suits and sunscreened skin. But it is also soft and does not stick to bare leggs like some pleathor does. The fact that every single piece has storage is a huge bonus. The color is soft blue, which works well with the water view. I researched extensively and was nervous about ordering because I knew I would not be able to ship it back if anything was wrong. But no worries at all. I had one small issue with my shipment and customer service was excellent. The seller actually cares about it's customers and my issue was promptly and fully resolved. I ordered this LLappuil Modular Sectional Sofa with Storage, Faux Leather Fabric 7 Seater Modular Sofa with Reversible Chaise, 112 Inch Convertible U Shape Sectional Couch with Ottomans because I wanted a fresh look in my living room. The items arrived in just a few days in separate boxes. I wish I had known that signature was required because it was a little challenging to coordinate my schedule to be home for delivery. I ordered the color Cognac, but I received the Brown instead. One reason I wanted the Cognac besides the lighter color is that it was faux leather, and the Brown is listed as a different material. Customer service was good about responding to my messages with my concern for the wrong color. I actually liked the new color which looks a little more gold or tan than brown, and figured the fabric may be better with pets, so I told them I would be willing to keep it as long as they honored the $200 coupon that came with the brown color. I was happy that they agreed to honor it. I have arthritis in my hands, but I found the items pretty easy to assemble. Each piece got easier as I figured things out. It was more challenging to break down all the boxes than to assemble the furniture! The furniture feels very well made, and it's pretty comfortable. I like the pillows that came with it a lot, but I added some nice marine-themed pillows that I thought would go great with the Cognac color, but they actually look pretty nice with the Brown, too. I love the look and the function of the sectional sofa, and it's comfortable, though a little on the firm side. There is plenty of storage. The only thing is that there are little gaps between the pieces when you assemble them, and the gap where I sit seems to like to swallow my remote and my cell phone. :) Still, it's easy to retrieve things when this happens, and I look forward to enjoying my furniture for many years to come! ... show more

Worried about the firmness since I’m fat, but rolling the roulette of online purchases and hey, this worked out very well! I love how every friggen section has its own storage module. The aesthetics of not needing a cabinet and opening up your living room more just makes your home feel so much bigger. I can also see the inevitable use case of breaking up this sofa and making it a circle pattern when my daughter grows up and holds some student org event here or whatever lol. I’m so happy we live in an era where vegan leather is cool and not seen as some pauper knock-off of leather like before lol. Also adds the needed quality trait of making this thing highly stain resistant. I eat here now. A+, 5 stars, would smash the subscribe button. This modular sofa rocks. No cap. holes dont line up well, heavy, thus difficult to assemble back too low, not comfortable. bad design. Can easily put the connecting screws of the back to a lower position and make the back higher.
