Im really glad I found these retractable leashes. I like to hang out in the garage with my dog without worrying about him running off. I used some paracord as a leash prior but it would get tangled up and obviously wouldnt retract. Mounted the bracket inside the door and its holding up fine. My dog has a little freedom to walk around the driveway and garage and I dont have to worry about him wandering off or getting tangled up. I bought the set that came with both the mountable bracket and the stake. So far , I'd say it was worth the money. Ill update in the future if something changes. Use to have static lines to keep dogs leashed. These are great retract and spin. This helps when the change direction running stays in the ground. Also the time spent untangling has been reduce by 70%. Means more time enjoying a cold one next to the camp fire.

Iv bought easily 6 pair of this product they are awsome but they made them cheaper the recoil on the last 2 (pairs) failed in the first week of use I still keep using it till the line rust then I change it its starting to get expensive to replace I don't need it to last for ever but at least half a year each heck Evan half a year for both.... ... show more

When I removed product from the ground lifting up on the steak the product broke it no longer retracts I have been messaging the company since the first of September and I bought the product July 18th so not even 6 weeks and it's broke the company will not return an email

I disliked this because the tethers seem to tangle frequently, as well as have the plastic coating wear out too fast.
