Received the knife set today, overall the knife set was about what I expected for the price, seems they are sharp and well balanced, price was good. As others have mentioned, the block is defective and won’t allow 1 of the large knives into the slot. The other being the block seems extremely easy to chip/scratch. I attempted to send seller a message, rather than a negative review, but was unable to do so Update Contacted the company via their company email address, explained my problem sent them a photo of the knife block and they promptly sent out a replacement. The knives which I believe are a great value; attractive, seem well made, sharp and well balanced. The only issue I had was the knife block/holder. Happy customer now. Great customer service. Thank you.

The knife set is good quality, the handles have good size, the blades come sharpe, and the sharpener on the block is a bonus. I did have an issue with the 7” Santoku knife fitting into the slot, and I emailed the company about it. I can’t say enough about how great the customer service is, and that alone counts as 5 stars for me, but the knife set is really good too. I got this while on sale, and the value for money was spot on, but I would still consider this set at full price. If you end up with the same issue with the Santoku, feel comfortable reaching out to the company and getting results

Overall I like this knife set. The Block looks great but unfortunately the knife holes are not fully cut in order to put the knives in. I had to use an old knife that I had to chip away the inside of the knife slits in the block in order for the knives to go it. This was a little annoying and took away a star I would give them. After the block issue was handled the knives went into the block as they were intended. The knives cut well for the average prep and cutting one would need in a kitchen. I would not say these are chef knives at all but they are decent quality that cut well. I am happy with my purchase as the set I had for the past 20 years far outlived its usefulness. It's hard to find things worth the value now days. I bought this set for about $80 with a coupon and at that price I think it was worth it even with the block issues. Thanksgiving is in a few days and these knives will really be put to the test then.

Exceptional customer service and a great set of knives! We had a problem with one slot in the block and the company went out of their way to make everything right. They were very kind as well. That was especially nice because it was a Christmas gift for my mom. She absolutely loves the set! The customer service information is a little difficult to locate online, but the email is in the paperwork that comes with the knife set. They responded and took action right away.

The media could not be loaded. Edit Update: I have been in contact with this company and although there were issues with this set of knives they did reach out and sent me several new sets of knives. Each set had the same issue. We came to the conclusion that it was probably a bad batch of the knife blocks. The knives themselves are amazing and very sharp. The company made every effort to correct the issue and sent me another set comparable to the original one I bought and they are amazing also and there are no issues at all with the new knife blocks either. I wish every company would work this hard to solve a problem with their item that this company did. Bought this for a gift and the knife cannot be put into the block due to a huge glob of glue down in the knife block. Hopefully the company will reach out to me.
