I love k18 but it’s so expensive for such a small bottle. Having really long and thick hair (down to my waist) I go through that stuff fast. I decided to give this a whirl and so happy I did. It’s not an exact replacement for k18 in terms of application and ingredients but I get the same results…maybe better. I got my hair bleached and the girl went a little overboard so I’ve been really careful with what I’ve been including in my hair routine after using this once my hair was so soft and shiny. I didn’t even blow dry it it was that good. The smell is subtle and doesn’t linger.

I was admittedly pretty skeptical of this product since they haven’t yet released the key ingredient or how it works (I think the patent is pending?), but it has truly been a game-changer for my hair. I was hoping for immediate results, so the first few times I used it I was unimpressed, but I’ve been consistent with it for over a month now and the results are incredible, and I am continuing to see improvements now (to the point where I am excited to use it each week). My hair is SO much more manageable, stronger, so smooth and my split ends are pretty much gone! My layers no longer look frazzled despite nothing else changing in my routine. Also, it’s expensive but even with my thicker hair I'm finding that it lasts for quite awhile (I use about 4 pumps once a week). Finally, what I may love most about this product is the ease of use. This is just easy to incorporate into my routine, and after I wait the 10 mins. (this part is key), I can apply my favorite leave-in product and style as usual. I love that this offers heat protection as a bonus. I highly recommend this product for anyone with color-treated hair or heat styling damage, etc. This is truly a product I feel is well worth the price.

This has made my long, fine hair look and feel smoother and healthier. However, be careful with the amount that you apply to your hair. The first time I used it, I separated my hair into two sections and put three pumps of product in each section. This was definitely too much for my hair and left it feeling sticky. The stickiness thankfully subsided after blow-drying my hair, but I learned to apply less after that.

I had high hopes for this. I followed the directions exactly and even watched some YouTube videos to make sure I knew the best way to use. So, washed with my usual Oribe shampoo and conditioned, then towel dried and used 4 total pumps (my hair is long and very thick), waited 10 minutes and then used the Pureology Color Fanatic Leave-in Conditionerleave and the Ouai hair oil before blow drying. My hair was tangled (it never tangles, but I had a full stubborn knot) and straw-like, especially on the mid to ends where I still have highlighted hair growing out. I have used Olaplex, K18 and the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate in the past - and like them all. This product is a no go for me though.

It's been months since I purchased this product and I have to say I really like this hair treatment. I use it sporadically and notice a difference each time. My hair is very healthy and shiny. It's lasting me sooo long because I have short fine hair. I stopped coloring and highlighting it years ago and this helped to get it back to healthy hair. A bit expensive but worth it. 1st review below I used this once. So not sure if it's doing what it says, I'll update review later. I bought this product because Living Proof Full shampoo and conditioner and Dry Shampoo are life changing products for me. I have very fine hair and had to wash it every day else it was flat and stuck to my head. My hairdresser got me started on this year's ago before it was available in stores. Been using it ever since. I can go days without washing hair and it still shines. So freeing!! I thought this product would be a great addition. Will report more on it as time passes with use.
