I really like this dry shampoo. It doesn’t feel heavy and I don’t think it makes my hair feel gross. It does help with the greasy look and I think it adds some volume.

I have never in my life written a bad review, especially for a product that I generally like. However, I am very angry and disappointed. I purchased this dry shampoo and loved the texture and feel. I bought a bottle a couple of months ago and it was great...two times. Then, the spray portion stopped working. No matter what I did, I could not get it to work. I ran it under hot water to unclog it and tried a number of other things. I am the CEO of a global manufacturing company, so I totally understand that quality issues happen with mechanical functions. SO...I threw it away and purchased another one. The new one LITERALLY WORKED ONE TIME and the same thing happened when I went to use it again. This is not a cheap "throw away" type product, and while I like the product inside the can, the spray function of the can is junk and very poorly manufactured, rendering the product inside the can useless (and hella expensive per use). It is a bummer, but two times in a row is a problem. I will never purchase this product again.

Really surprised about the negative reviews for this. I’ve tried, what feels like, a dozen different dry shampoos from Walgreens to Walmart to Ulta. This one is by far the best. I have dark brown hair and this product never leaves a “white cast”. It absorbs oil really well and I can easily go 5-7 days without washing my hair. My only issue is the price point for the side of the bottle. I’m fairly certain you can get a bigger size at ultra for a much better price. Regardless, great product and I’d highly recommend!

I have oily roots, long thin hair, and have to wash every day or my hair looks clumped and gross. I have tried many shampoos and dry shampoos to help my hair and am glad to say I finally found the one that works! I spray it on my roots while getting ready and brush it out with a comb in 5-10 minutes. Not only does my hair smell great, there is no white residue and it looks clean! The best part is it stays looking clean and volumized all day. Highly recommend trying if you are in a last ditch effort. The only downside is I wish there was more in the can. But since I only use it 1x/week when my hair needs a break, it is worth the money.

Alright, full disclosure: I kind of wanted to dislike this stuff. I got it on sale during Prime Days, and thought it might be alright for a one-time buy because it's so expensive. Honestly, I love this stuff enough to consider getting more when I'm out. It legitimately sometimes makes my hair look better on a greasy day than my hair looks when it's clean/on the first day after washing it. I have very dark black hair, so white residue left behind by dry shampoo is very noticable. This stuff turns your hair white when you spray it on, but it shakes out completely after leaving it in for a while. It has a strong scent, I'll admit, but it doesn't bother me because I really like it -- it smells like I just left the salon. I'll be honest, I don't have a ton of experience with dry shampoo, so I don't have a ton of reference points outside of this one. That said, this stuff works and I'm a big fan.

I have used probably 100s of different dry shampoo products, techniques and tips to keep my fine hair from looking greasy a day after washing. Most products work for a few minutes and then it is grease central again. THIS dry shampoo changed the game! I will apply this to Day 1 freshly washed hair as a preventative before bed, and I wake up with hair that looks, smells and FEELS clean. If needed, I will apply another coat to my roots, but it is usually not needed. I can go about 2-3 days depending on my hair styles before another wash. And that’s better than needing to wash almost twice a day! It doesn’t feel like dry shampoo when I touch my hair. It smells clean and not like it is “covering” any smells. Will be purchasing the biggest bottle next! I take the mini size when traveling.

This style of bottle does not spray. I received a $9 refund for my $30 purchase on a product I can’t use, because the bottle is defective. Buy the other Living Proof dry shampoo, which has a different style of spray bottle. I never had any problems with the other spray bottle over the years. Hopefully, Living Proof puts this product in the old style of spray bottle.
