The Little Giant Velocity is constructed of a special alloy that makes it 20 percent lighter than any comparable industrial-rated ladder. The Velocity also includes several innovative new features such as the dual-pin hinge and the easy-to-use Rock Locks for quick adjustment. The Velocity can be used in many unique configurations as an A-frame, extension, staircase and 90-degree ladder, and with Velocity Trestle Brackets to form a trestle-and-plank scaffolding system. The Velocity’s wide-flared legs and aerospace-grade aluminum construction provide an unmatched feeling of safety and stability. The Little Giant Velocity is rated to hold 300 pounds on both sides and is a true two-person ladder.

Needed a good tall ladder, and the design on this one looked interesting to me. The big question was, would it feel sturdy and safe after being extended, especially since I was going up the side of the house to remove and replace shutters. Once I got the ladder extended and set in place, it felt very sturdy!! Sure, there’s a little bend and give with it being aluminum, but with the strong locks in place at all joints, I never felt like it would collapse or give way at any point. I believe they designed this one very well! The 17’ is definitely a little heavy and unwieldy, but after I kind of figured out the wheel system, and how to just unfold and extend it on the ground, much easier now! Take your time to learn the approach and you’ll love this ladder. Glad I didn’t try to cheap out because I feel like this one will last a long time! ... show more

Love everything about this ladder, and all of the available attachments that you can buy to add on, but still a bit pricey. The 17' version, with the additional attachments ran me almost $600.00, and this was an older model that still had the "push" releases on the left and right and not the newer one with the knob that you turn (to extend from an A Frame to an extension ladder). Again, great ladder, but probably out of reach for many homeowners on a fixed budget who can just go with a regular ladder or two. ... show more
