i like to dye my hair black a lot when im just tired of my bright color and i’ve been using this bleach every time i wanna go back light and it ALWAYS does a surprisingly good job it doesn’t burn my scalp and im pretty brutal with my hair im ashamed to say it but any time i dye my hair or bleach it i work in the product like shampoo pls don’t do that it’s probably really bad but yea i recommend this hair bleach bc as i said my hair was BLACK and i use permanent black box dye so do with that what you will but of course dont quote me and results my vary ... show more

I don’t believe it really tells you why you throw it away immediately after use. After you mix it it becomes pressurized. I unscrewed the bottle the next day and it shot everywhere, all over the bathroom.

I’ve tried two bleaches so far - this and a conditioning bleach. I had completely dyed black hair and have never bleached my hair before. My hair texture is on the finer side, full, and straight. I removed the black from my hair as best I could first, then I lightened it slowly using this (waiting two to three weeks between applications). I did four applications over three months, and my hair is blonde now. I made sure to use leave in conditioners and hair masks in the process. I used to L’Oréal toner once and the John Frida purple shampoo. My hair is still incredibly soft with very minimal damage. If you’re bleaching your hair go slow!! I like that this bleach smells better than any other I've used, and it seems to be gentle on my hair. The anti-brass conditioner is a big bonus, and I gave it an extra star for that. As far as being effective, it could be better. I did have box-dyed black hair before using, so that's part of the reason, but I also didn't see much lightening of my roots, which were obviously virgin hair, and not as dark. I do have one strange blondish streak near my scalp, but other than that, my hair is sort of a dark reddish chocolate color after bleaching for about 50 minutes, and in the past I've seen a much more significant difference using salon-quality bleach. I may use this product again because of how gentle it is, but if I don't see my hair getting lighter, I'll have to go to something like a 30 volume and bleach it like I used to. ... show more
