I didn't really find any comparison online between the Jumbo & Safety models, so I purchased both and boy was I pleasantly surprised! The Safety was the one I ended up keeping. Here are the few points that I noticed comparing both side by side: 1- Stepping on the Jumbo, it feels flimsy and cheap. It squeaks like a 10 year old ladder, while the Safety is almost silent in comparison. 2- Safety has much grippier steps thanks to the rubber surface. 3- Safety locks the entire assembly when the support arm is flipped up, unlike the Jumbo where the whole thing will tend to fold when you try to move it from the front side! 4- Safety has wheels to roll away. 5- Lifting Safety with one hand feels much more secure than the Jumbo. 6- Jumbo is lighter. 7- Jumbo's support arm reaches about 4 inches higher. 8- Jumbo's tray is more practical. ... show more

If you only plan to purchase one ladder, let it be this Little Giant! Amazingly sturdy, easy to move around both folded and unfolded, easy to collapse/fold the ladder and to open it up. I use this beauty like a workhorse inside and outside my home. Love the extra wide and deep steps and the safety rail; now I always feel secure when working overhead. If you have balance issues, this is the only ladder to consider in my opinion. Well worth its' price - I will never be without one again. ... show more
