The MicroBurst® from Little Giant Ladder Systems® has features that are unique to this model of ladder. - STABILIZED STEPLADDER - With its patent-pending Stable Lock™ spreader system made from a high-strength steel alloy; the MicroBurst gives you the stability needed to complete any task with confidence. On a typical stepladder, the spreader bar is weak, allowing the ladder to “walk” or shift, but on Little Giant’s MicroBurst, the Stable Lock spreader is strong, allowing you to set up the ladder and work in confidence. - LIGHTWEIGHT AND EASY TO STORE - Made from lightweight, non-conductive fiberglass, the MicroBurst can safely be used in a variety of situations. The fiberglass rails fit neatly inside each other, creating a slim, 3.5” storage and carrying profile, making it easier than ever to carry or store your stepladder. - SPECS - This ladder meets or exceeds all OSHA and ANSI standards, and is available with a Type IA rating to hold 300 lbs. and a Type IAA rating to hold 375 lbs. From the Manufacturer At first glance, the 3-foot Little Giant MicroBurst™ looks like a traditional A-frame stepladder, but there is nothing traditional about it. The MicroBurst’s unique pivoting top cap and patent-pending Stable Lock™ spreader system fundamentally changes the standard stepladder model. As the top cap pivots, the MicroBurst’s rails fit neatly inside each other, creating a slim, 3½-inch storage and carrying profile. The MicroBurst stores in nearly half the space and is much more stable than a comparable type IAA (375 lbs.) stepladder. The MicroBurst’s Stable Lock spreader system locks securely in place, creating a solid A-frame structure with no room for shifting or walking. On typical A-frame stepladders, the spreader bars are the most important, yet weakest part of the ladder. On the Little Giant MicroBurst, the spreader system is the strongest part of the ladder, constructed of a high-strength steel alloy. Also, unlike most A-frame ladders, the MicroBurst’s patent-pending design makes room for a wide flare on both sides of the ladder, significantly increasing lateral stability. It’s easier to carry, store, and set-up; it’s stronger and safer than any other comparable A-frame ladder.
