There are no instructions, as others have said. It takes a good deal of common sense to as emblem it. There was a little ball bering in the bottom, just rolling around. Also a washer. I put it together tightening up all the set screws, and then realized that little silver ball probably belonged under the center pole. So I dropped it down from the gears put it in, and tightened everything back up . Now, 4 days later. ..I think that the spare washer probably went under the center pole too. I will have to dismantle it yet again. I chose not to put the legs on it because they only hold it about 8 inches of the floor. And I needed it to drain into a gallon bucket. I'm glad I did. They're is absolutely no way to balance 2 honey frames . It kind of reminded me of grandma's washing machine Walking out the kitchen door. My daughter had to hold it down while I sat down and spun the handle. .from the end worth my arm in line with the crank. If you let go. ..don't try to grab it. Our honey was warm, so it came out good. It still took 10 minutes of extremely fast spinning. We only had 6 frames of honey. But this was, _way better then nothing the wax was dry. Ps use a fork to scratch off the caps. A serrated blade takes to long and removed to much wax ... show more

    • Okay for low price but terrible quality
The gear parts kept coming off of the frame holders during top speed. It was a pain to stop every few spins to put back together. The product had scratches all over and missing paint, making it appear used, even though it was sold as new. It was okay enough to finish harvesting, but definitely not a quality product. ... show more

    • Chipping red paint.
Seems to work ok have not used it to harvest yet. Product came earlier than expected only problem I see is that the red paint on the gear housing is chipping in many places. It looks like it's "used" until you really look closely. I'll update later when I harvest.
