As a woman I did not like to rely on my husband to help me clear our property. I had purchased a battery reciprocating saw to cut away larger branches. It worked great but there was only so much it could do. I could cut down smallness but anything larger than 8" across became a struggle. I decided that I needed a battery chain saw. I chose this model because it has the cheapest batteries and they are exactly the same as the ones at Harbor Freight. I purchased a second battery at a great price with their 20% off coupon. It is made by the same manufacturer, as is the chain saw. Of course my husband had to be the first to try my new saw, lol. One of our trees had blown over in a storm so we cut it down with this saw. It cut just like a gas power saw without the noise, smell and the repeated pulling of the start cord. Just push a button and off it goes! I don't cut wood for firewood or for hours at a time so I can't speak to how it works for that. I can say that it works great for my needs of a few cuts a few times a week. The saw isn't too heavy for me and my bad shoulder. It is way lighter than our gas powered saw. The batteries charge quickly and hold their charge a long time. ... show more

I have 2 gas chainsaws that just sit in my workbench, they are such a pain, hard to start, mixing gas/oil and worst of all so much vibration and noise. I purchased an electric Gardenline at Aldi several months ago, a cordless polesaw at Harbor Freight(Lynxx), and recently this Litheli. I have a pretty large tree in the yard, started with the pole saw which worked well for a few pretty large branches(5 or 6 in diameter). I decided to fell the entire tree. The Litheli was delayed due to corona virus so I started with the Gardenline, it was awesome!!! The base of the tree was 22 inches in diameter, no small feat for the 14 inch Gardenline but it was amazing, over a couple of days I had it all chopped up. I almost cancelled the Litheli order, but thought it would be good for farther out on my property. Long story short: Litheli Pro's Lots of power, easily cuts 4 to 5 inch diameter logs, could do more Battery lasted, only down 1 bar Solid machine Easy to adjust chain tension Automatic bar oiler works well (must purchase your own oil) Good value No more gas chainsaws for me Cons: Heavy - Weighs approx the same as my gas saw No case available The battery does not work in Lynxx - it looked like it would - Not Litheli's fault ... show more

I'm happy with the saw, but a couple of hints for when you get it if you're getting ready to do some work with it. When you get the saw, you'll need to charge the battery, and the saw does not come with bar oil, so have that with the chain soaking the night before you plan to use it the first time.     • Weird looking paper weight
First review I was skeptical of an electric chainsaw, but I decided to give it a try. I am not as young as I used to be, and needed something lighter. This chainsaw was extremely easy to put together. It works very well. It will probably be better used for lighter sawing. However, I used it for some heavier work on a fallen cedar tree. It held up great. The battery also outlasted me. After an hours work, the meter on the saw said the battery was still half full. If you need a lighter, quiet, dependable, long-lasting chainsaw, this is your saw. Added Later The saw still works well, so I decided to order an extra battery so that I could work longer if needed. There are NONE available on Amazon, at the litheli Website, even the battery that someone said was interchangeable was not available. So it is a good product that will probably NOT be good when the battery wears out. Probably be better off buying from a company that produces batteries for their product. Final review Well, now I have a paper weight. Battery doesn't charge well. There are no batteries available anywhere. Please, please, please, do not buy this product. ... show more

If you need to use this for any heavy use, don't get it. But if you're looking for something to cut, some small branches or shrubs It's not bad battery life kind of sucks I tried cutting bigger logs with it and it just dies pretty fast but it's not bad for pruning trees It will charge up pretty fast. It takes like under 30 minutes and you have a full charge battery so I'm not disappointed with it ... show more
