I gotta say this is a great little saw. Worked for a couple hours on one charge but slowed down when it got to two bars. Charged back up in less than an hour. Cut through small limbs like butter and through some 8-10 in pieces pretty quickly as well. Only bad thing is it only comes with 1 battery. Company sent saw + 1 battery to Alaska but won't ship another single battery here. Will have to buy and send to my daughter in lower 48 and have her mail to me. Makes no sense but whatever. For $100 on sale I'd buy it again.

Motor stopped working after 5 minutes of use. Worked well until then. Will update review after experience with their warranty. Update::: Warranty was very easy. sent a video of it not working, received new unit with battery and charger. Wish it was more powerful but it works. and hope it lasts longer than the original.

First review I was skeptical of an electric chainsaw, but I decided to give it a try. I am not as young as I used to be, and needed something lighter. This chainsaw was extremely easy to put together. It works very well. It will probably be better used for lighter sawing. However, I used it for some heavier work on a fallen cedar tree. It held up great. The battery also outlasted me. After an hours work, the meter on the saw said the battery was still half full. If you need a lighter, quiet, dependable, long-lasting chainsaw, this is your saw. Added Later The saw still works well, so I decided to order an extra battery so that I could work longer if needed. There are NONE available on Amazon, at the litheli Website, even the battery that someone said was interchangeable was not available. So it is a good product that will probably NOT be good when the battery wears out. Probably be better off buying from a company that produces batteries for their product. Final review Well, now I have a paper weight. Battery doesn't charge well. There are no batteries available anywhere. Please, please, please, do not buy this product.

This is a surprisingly great saw. We purchased it primarily to serve as a road clearing saw while traveling REMOTE fire roads here in Washington. In this state, especially early in the season, there will be a ton of blown down trees. And we were tired of carrying a two stroke gas saw..... The good. Company customer service is top notch. Battery last a decent amount of time. Easy to use. Light and quieter than a gas saw. Does not leak or stink. Normal sized chain, not the compact chain used by some others. All the following was on a single battery charge. In my photos you will see the saw up against a tree trunk. That is a big leaf maple which is a hardwood. As you can see the trunk is wider than the saw is long. So that makes it a blind cut and I made three of those cuts with the saw! The next photos were of a 4x4 that I cut into wafers. I cut about 6 feet into .25 to .5 inch thick chunks. The last photo shows that there was approximately 1/2 of the battery left. The saw has been setting on the shop floor for a month and has not dripped a drop of bar oil! The Less Good. When cutting through the hardwood the saw would stop intermittently. It did so maybe twice in each of the three blind cuts. Customer service says it is normal and how the saw protects itself from excessive amperage. Just release the trigger and reengage to reset. It has been a great saw for overlanding!

I was surprised at how well this saw preforms. Pull the lever and it’s ready to go. No gasoline , no cranking , no sparkplug. One of the handiest tools I have. Very good battery life !

I'm happy with the saw, but a couple of hints for when you get it if you're getting ready to do some work with it. When you get the saw, you'll need to charge the battery, and the saw does not come with bar oil, so have that with the chain soaking the night before you plan to use it the first time. Battery life was good and noise very good, no kickback issues either. Quite pleased overall.

Our pecan tree decided to drop an enormous limb that surrounded my Tundra and miraculously didn't scratch it a bit. Was looking for an easy to use saw to cut the 19-in diameter limb, and figured it would take two or three charges of the battery to get through it all. I could not have been more wrong, the saw sliced through everything without chatter or complaint and when finished, I still had three out of four LED lights of battery life left. I used to own a 26-in bar McCullough in Colorado, and cut down 80 to 100 ft dead standing pine trees. So I have a little bit of experience with using a chainsaw, and have to say, this was a pleasant surprise.

If you need to use this for any heavy use, don't get it. But if you're looking for something to cut, some small branches or shrubs It's not bad battery life kind of sucks I tried cutting bigger logs with it and it just dies pretty fast but it's not bad for pruning trees It will charge up pretty fast. It takes like under 30 minutes and you have a full charge battery so I'm not disappointed with it
