The fixtures are easy to install if electrical boxes are available. There are two caveats to the light. The part containing the LEDs is also what you bolt to the electric box. The sheet aluminum used is very thin and the heads of the supplied bolts are barely larger that the slots used to secure the fixture resulting in torn aluminum. The second issue is the clips that secure the lens to the fixture. In the four units I purchased the clips were snapped off. I used CA glue and ingenuity to fix them. ... show more

Why I’m giving this 4 stars. Package arrived without the additional protection of an Amazon box. Had been delivered late, and left out in the rain overnight by Amazon Delivery. Luckily fixture was in a plastic bag. After about 2 weeks of use in a laundry closet, so far so good. Have noticed when light is on for more than an hour and then turned off, LED fades before going out, rather than immediately turning off. The light cast is quite bright, and cool. I wasn't sure what brightness to get, but this 22.5 w fixture was perfect for my laundry room. Simple to install and looks great. The only negative comment may be due to house wiring or the utility company and not the fault of the product. Sometimes (a clue that it may be the utility company) the light flickers when the washing machine is in operation. Not much and I don't spend much time there after I've started the washer. A friend told me he had the same problem with a different kind (and brand) of LED light. ... show more

This is for the 4000K, square version. Quite bright - I'm using it in a utility room, approx 10 ft x 10 ft, with an 8 ft slanted ceiling. Easy install. LED's are protected by a clear plastic cover. The frosted dome attachment method is the best I've seen. I'll buy another one of these lights. ---- Update 12/2/2019> I bought another one, this time the 3000K. It's not as bright as the 4000K. Also the emitted light color of the 3000K is stark. I would only give the 3000K 3 stars, maybe 2. (I accidentally dropped 3000K unit from about seven feet. It banged off my ladder a couple times and hit the floor. Still works.) ... show more
