Every piece is basically the same so you can rearrange your pieces however you want- very functional. I love how each on has storage compartments. The cushions are not too soft so they hold their form well and have good support. Fabric is nice to touch and so far is holding up well with little kids. Color looks great and like the image. Pieces are a little challenging to connect together and the couch is pretty heavy and hard to move once connected so you may want help when moving this if you want to remove a rug or put one under

I researched many many others brands of modular sofas before I decided to purchase this Linsy Home modular 6-seat sofa from Amazon with a $100 coupon (just click on the check box) a few weeks ago. I then ordered 2 ottoman from the Linsy Home website because they were cheaper than Amazon. I LOVE LOVE this sofa! 1) Beautiful luxurious fabric, 2) truly modular in that you can spin the base any direction to manage wear/tear or hide stains and it's very easy to re-arrange (no tools needed, connector hardware is very solid); 3) Covers on cushions, bases and sides are removable and WASHABLE (great for pets & kids); 4) EVERY piece has generous storage space. This is my first sectional or modular sofa and I've been having fun re-arranging the pieces. I purchased an ottoman tray and a few serving trays (from Amazon) to replace need for coffee tables. The one con is that this sofa is not for tall people. My husband and I are 5'9" & 5'10 and the seat depth is not as comfortable as we would prefer. We are making it work by placing an ottoman in front of our seat. Still worth the cost. I highly recommend!! UPDATE 12/23/2022. I decided to replace the 2 inch sofa legs with 4 inch legs (from Amazon) for two reasons 1) the seat sits higher, much better for taller people in our family, and 2) our feet can now slide under the seat base when picking up / putting away blankets at end of day. I have a total of nine seat bases which required replacing 36 legs - I opted for plastic rather than wood legs which kept the total cost under $80, which I feel was a very good investment. Plus I think the sofa looks better with the taller 4 inch legs!

Likes: storage, assembly, early delivery, stylish, modular, extra parts to add later if wanted, accurate color, nice fabric, perfect size, detached back pillows. Dislike: thin back cushions, hard seat cushions, shallow storage and sitting room. Overall for the sale price I got I'm very happy. If you're looking for a decent new couch that's quick and affordable this is worth it.

I like a LOT about this couch. But it is needing some improvements, which the manufacturer actually told me they are already working on, when I let them know about my concerns. It’s a high quality build, sturdy and clever. The dimensions are the main issue. Its modular function is awesome. It’s easy to assemble and reconfigure. The packaging was smart. The cushions are soft. And the storage in each base is great. The downside is that this couch is made for one type of seating position: a body posture of 90 degrees. The back just isn’t high enough for sitting comfortably in any relaxed position. There’s nowhere for your upper back and head—which is fine at a doctors office waiting room, but not for a cuddly family movie night. I read a couple other reviews that said similar things, but I ignored them because I figured it was “just them”. Well, now this problem taints what I love about this couch. I just hate that I can’t quite enjoy it. Only our kids can sit comfortably—that’s because they’re still made of mostly cartilage, unlike us parents whose flexibility and recovery abilities are greatly wanting. I’d return it, but there is nothing wrong with the product—it just isn’t what I hoped it would be. We’ll be fine, so long as the company gives us the improvements they promised.

I purchased this couch about a month ago. It was unboxed and used for maybe two weeks. Pros: I really liked that each seat had storage under it, and the freedom to rearrage the layout was the two reasons for purchase. Assembly was pretty straight forward, we didn't need the instructions. (one set of instructions you'd have to find within 7 boxes, and didnt know which box it was in.) Cons: the seats are not deep enough. With the back cushion sitting on the top of the seat cushion, it takes up seat space making it feel like you had to sit up straight to remain seated. If you lean back to much you start to feel like you are sliding off the chair. I like to sit cross legged and it doesn't offer much space for that. (I'm 5'2 and I still felt like I'd fall of seated that way) If you want to lay down on it, you have to use the chaise sides. If you lay in the middle seating, the cushions separate leaving a hard surface felt in your hips/side. ( modular seats were attached to each other) The back rest isn't very high either. You'd have to get the head rest attachments for a more comfortable seat. Since they are short, an option would be to rest your arms onto of the back rest, but back cushions would fall down. The back support is lower then the cushions and are narrow, so you can't rest your arms there either. Overall the couch wasn't very comfortable. I returned it with prepaid labels the company provided, since I was within the approved time frame. If you choose to purchase, I recommend keeping the boxes in case you return the couch.
