Description

The Torcia wall sconce, made by Linea di Liara, brings a touch of contemporary sophistication perfect for bathrooms, bedrooms, corridors, entryways and living areas. This chrome light fixture has a white fabric shade that measures 7" high x 5" in diameter. The wall light itself is 20" high x 5" wide and extends 6" from the wall. The backplate is a 4.5" square and is compatible with most 4" octagonal, round and square or 2" x 4" junction boxes. It features an E26 socket that is compatible with a variety of incandescent, LED, CFL and halogen bulbs (60W max, sold separately) and is fully dimmable when used with a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer switch. Must be hardwired, there is not a switch or plug on the fixture itself.

I ordered these wall sconces to soften the modern clean lines of the medicine cabinets in the vanity area of my almost finished remodeled bathroom. They are exactly what I wanted and look very high end! I have a few different light sources in the bathroom – recessed in ceiling, LED in the medicine cabinets and these wall sconces. Arrived today and clearly a return item by a previous buyer. I could tell upon opening the box with the packaging broken. I ordered 2 and will be returning both myself as well. The color is much more of a dull brass then the gold pictured, but worse is that it is off center where it attaches to the piece that meets the wall. If you had one perhaps you may not notice, but using as a pair intending to flank and mirror or TV, there is no way to achieve a symmetrical look. I would not recommend. ... show more

Exactly what I was look for to add ambience lighting to our dining area. I did not hardwire them. Instead, I purchased puck lights that come with remote control and dimmer and place them on top of the mount that the bulb would otherwise screw into. Elegant and understated.

Sadly, I don't have the space on the other vanity and was not able to find a complimentary light to mount above the mirror. This light is beautiful and I'm disappointed that I had to return and choose other lights.
