We ordered several of these pillows in different firmness to get the actual feel of them. All were very well-made and well packaged. We preferred the medium firm one and decided to order standard instead of the queen ones we ordered originally. There was a note in the pillow packaging and in the Amazon return info that encouraged returners to call Lincove directly. We did that and talked with Zeke in Lincove's customer service office. What an easy, pleasant, and useful experience! Zeke looked up the Amazon order for us, offered to confirm that the three substitutes that we were ordering were available (which they were), and offered to set up the order for us and email it to us. That saved me the time it would have taken to choose the new items and it left no doubt about whether and when we would get what we wanted. Amazon's return and re-order process is usually pretty smooth but I just had to write this review because I was so impressed by the efficiency and professionalism of the Lincove customer service. It’s a fine pillow, but much too soft. I wish I had gotten the more firm one. I love a soft pillow, but this is way too soft and my head just dunks down to the mattress.

    • MEDIUM is too soft but FIRM is like a rock!

2/2022 update: I am still using the firmest of the 2 but it isn't all that comfortable. I haven't removed any down or replaced it in the medium one yet but someday I will try that. 2021: I purchased 2 MEDIUM FIRM Queen pillows. They were delivered on Jan 19, 2021. I tried one out for about 2 weeks but didn't like the lack of support. It flattened out almost immediately upon using it. I called the company and spoke with a representative. She offered to send me replacement pillows in FIRM but if I accepted them I would not be able to return them for refund because I would not have to return the original MEDIUM FIRMNESS pillows. I agreed to this because I figured that the FIRM pillows would only be a little more form than the MEDIUM FIRM pillows. It took 1 week for the replacement pillows to arrive. However, the firmness is terrible! They are so firm the it's like sleeping on a rock! The only way I will be able to use any of these pillows will be to remove some of the filling from the FIRM pillows and stuff it into the MEDIUM FIRM pillows. That will be a challenge because the down will end up all over the place and because I don't own a sewing machine I will have to see them up by hand. The MEDIUM FIRM pillows that I ordered felt like they should have been rated as the SOFT. I say that just by judging the difference between the FIRM and the first ones I received. If the first ones were really SOFT them I would think that the MEDIUM would have been perfect. However, just by judging between the two that different fillings that I received, I can't understand how there is so much difference in the firmness of the two pillows. I guess that because I now have 4 pillows the price should be okay but I need to restuff them in order to make usable pillows. When I called customer service after receiving and trying out the first pillows I was treated great. The woman was very friendly. She was eager to assist and promptly sent out the replacement pillows. I haven't called them back after trying to replacement pillows because I don't know what can be done. If the MEDIUM is too soft and the FIRM is too hard there really isn't any other options. The only way that I can explain what has happened is if the original pillows they sent me were actually SOFT, not MEDIUM. There is nothing on the pillows that describes the firmness of the pillows, only the size (regular, queen, or king). ... show more

I ordered the medium. It was too thin for side sleeping. I contacted lincove and they replaced these for the firm pillow which is perfect for side sleeping. Very comfortable pillow. Highly recomended

Smaller than I expected .. but scrunches up enough to sleep on my side or stomach. Smells slightly weird .. air out in the sun .. then it’s ok. Cover is slightly crinkly .. quality seems good. Glad to have a pillow that I can adjust.

I Purchased a regular size soft pillow and it was delivered on time. My mistake was I didn’t realize my original pillow was a queen so the pillow was too short. So I called and talked to Stephanie. I explained The situation and told her it was definitely my fault that I didn’t realize this to begin with. I asked if she was to send me a different pillow could I get it in medium firmness. She was awesome and took care of my requests and my new pillow was sent out immediately after paying only the upgrade to the bigger pillow. After sleeping on my new pillow a few nights now I can definitely say it is so extremely comfortable and just exactly what I was hoping for. Scared me, I ordered 2 king size soft. Opened the box and two very small packages were inside, I thought they screwed up. After opening these packages and fluffing the pillows, they were right as rain. Just laying on them now, so only giving first impressions, will let you know more after I've had some time to get intimate with them. ***update...loving these pillows.
