I bought these pillows in firm and they are very comfortable! But as a side sleeper I needed something a little firmer. Down pillows naturally squish and need to be fluffed but I enjoy the fluffy softness and comfort of them. I reached out to customer service and Jane helped me pick out their signature firm pillows which have a higher fill power, so they keep that firmness but still have the soft, airy feel that’s unique to down. This particular pillow (cloud) is the perfect huggable sleeping pillow (if you sleep on your side) and paired with the signature firm pillow (highest fill) I have the support I need coupled with the comfort I love. Literally like sleeping on a cloud. If you sleep on your back like my husband, then you probably don’t need any other pillow but for a side sleeper I do recommend getting their signature firm pillow. I personally prefer Lincove over other brands I’ve had over the years. Their down is sourced ethically and they aren’t falsely advertising the fill on their products like many other companies do. Good quality down pillows are always going to be expensive but for the folks that enjoy the feel of down, these are worth it. first of all, I need to say sorry to the seller, because I returned the car seat pillow to amazon, I put the car seat pillow in this pillow box, and somehow they worker didn't open the box and assumed it is this pillow and refunded it to me. I have contacted Amazon customer service to make sure the seller won't charged due to Amazon's worker's mistake... If you need any help, welcome to contact me, I will show my evidence that I didn't return this pillow...I just put another item in this pillow's box. Anyway, it is very soft and supported the neck, it is not high and I can make sure the majority inside the pillow is down, not feather, because there is rarely something get out from the pillow... I love this pillow, definitely a good pillow with any gestures, including side sleep ... show more

I got this down pillow on a splurge, and after one night, I knew it was “the one”. I had been sleeping on a tempurpedic extra soft memory foam one, and was not happy with the way it could not squish it to where I wanted it to. With this new down pillow, in a firm fill, it has the perfect level of softness and support. Although it’s a firm down pillow, I would not equate it to a general firm pillow. It’s much softer, yet still has a lot of support, because of the massive amount of down inside! I am able to still squish it around, and pack the down exactly where I need it for any given sleeping position. The down is super high quality, no smell, and NO POKEY BITS. Since I got the king size, I can even curl it around my head. I am a poor sleeper, and I need all the help I can get in making me sleep. This pillow is truly like a hug for your head, and I look forward to laying my head on it every night. I know It will last for MANY MANY years. So, don’t be put off by the price, it is well worth the money, and you won’t regret it! You are worth it! Let me start by saying I rarely write reviews on Amazon but felt compelled to with my experience with Lincove! I placed an order for a two pack of medium fill queen pillows. I am quite familiar with down pillows and curious to try this brand. The pillows came in beautiful packaging and were fluffed and ready out of the box. The case material appears very sturdy with no signs of any down popping through. I did however notice a smell of dampness when we got them situated. Being aware of the typical smell of down pillows, this was slightly off. So I let them air for a day before using which helped slightly. I reached out to Lincove and spoke to Katherine around my concerns of what appeared to be a damp smell when I got them. I also noticed after using them for a few days the medium fill still felt light and was now leaning towards the firm fill. Katherine was super understanding and offered to send two replacements no charge! I told her I think we might need to go with the firms instead and was willing to pay the difference from medium to firm Fill. Again Katherine was so kind and was willing to send two firms at no extra charge! So I received my two firms in today and can confidently say there is no smell of dampness and the pillows quality and fill is absolutely outstanding!! The first pillows may have gotten some moisture in the package during transport possibly, but these were perfect. So the company stands behind their products and most importantly takes care of their customers. Lincove is my go to now for any down bedding products! ... show more

The reason I gave this a 2/5 is my fault. I did not know what level of softness or firmness I should order. On the other hand, I don't recall a suggested guide for sleepers...ie. back; side; stomach. In the future perhaps this would be a useful edition to item description. Meanwhile, I will probably send this pillow back and up the firmness and, unfortunately go without a quality pillow for a while until I receive the new one. ... show more

This is at least my 10th down pillow that I purchased in many years and it is so far the most comfortable one. I don't spare a penny when it comes to my sleep comfort and I am glad I splurged this time around as well. However, and it's only been a day since I got it, the pillow has a funky smell to it. I never experienced any smell with other down pillows, but this one has it and I don't even know how to describe it, it does not smell like anything I smelt before. It didn't bother me enough to prevent me from falling asleep, but had I known about it before purchasing I may have chosen otherwise. I hope it goes away and thus for now 4-stars. Too bad because it is really really comfortable. I got the medium one as I'm a back and side sleeper and it really works well for both positions. I don't have any medical issues, but I do have challenging time falling asleep and last night, for the first time, I fell asleep in the shortest time possible. ... show more
