I love this little guy, I feel like it’s just the right size for me, it tucks under my desk nicely. There were no leaks, every connection was snug, everything works properly. It’s loud, but not crazy loud, as loud as a slightly raised voice and not a shout, loud enough to startle you at first, but you get use to it, even then, it doesn’t run that long, maybe like a minute or two. The sound is more in the lower register so it’s more comfortable to be around than a high pitched rattling roar. I was tempted to get the five gallon, but I didn’t want the increase in decibels. I’m not sure why the two gallon compressor didn’t have an accessories kit included option. The pricing of this brand’s compressor line up fluctuated in odd ways, at one point if i remember right, the 5gal with accessories included was priced a bit under the 2gal without accessories. I don’t know the brand feels a bit sketchy, but I really wanted the 2gal, because it was the largest tank at the lowest decibels. All reviews said the right things. I looked up and compared every compressor at this size here on Amazon and this one stood out to me for one of the most quietest ones in this price range. It was rated the quietest on Project Farm’s YouTube channel. The main things I looked for in a compressor were: affordable or fairly priced, reliability, a large tank and for it to be really quiet. I think this one hit the spot fairly well for the price. Looks like they don’t have anymore 2gallon sizes right now, this one is a bit of a gem. I use it mostly for airbrushing and I’m super happy with it. I would recommend if this product becomes available again. Extra: There was box option I had never seen before when I was ordering, i thought it’d be smart to hide what the item was being inside another box so i selected the box option. I probably wouldn’t select the extra box if I bought something like this again because it was shipped to me in an oversized box and it seemed to give the delivery people problems banging around inside the larger box. The outer box was really beat up, the box inside was slightly banged up, there was nothing to hold the box inside steady. Luckily this compressor is built pretty tough and survived. I’d say don’t select the box option and just be ready for your compressor’s arrival so that it doesn’t sit at your front door advertising what it is and tempting porch pirates.

This is great. I got tired of not being able to talk when the compressor came on so treated myself to one of these. I plumbed it in parallel with my old compressor but leave that off most of the time. This little one is always on and runs several times a day. It is not expensive so longevity was a question. It has been two years and it finally failed to start. Started fine without pressure in the tank. Something to do with back-pressure. Nothing to lose now so I tore it apart. The design is awesome. Easy to disassemble, O-ring seals on the heads and sturdy reed valves. There was some crud from condensation. There is an anti-backflow valve at the tank. That has some crud in it as well. Cleaned & greased the valves and reassembled it. Only took a few minutes. Works like new again! Would definitely buy one of these again.

I just received. The box had been abused with 2 holes. The plastic air filter was protruding out.. . But not damaged. I assembled the 2 pieces and it started right up and pumped to 120psi quickly. After double tightening the quick release again, there are no leaks and holding pressure. It is fast and quiet. I have the 2 gallon one, but ordered the one gallon unit for my son last Christmas. He has been pleased also.

My old Harbor Freight hot dog compressor was shot and was taking 10+ minutes to fill up, and it was also obnoxiously loud so I knew I wanted a 'Ultra-Quiet' compressor to replace it with. I found these Limodot compressors and decided to go with the 2ga with the BIG motor because I wanted the best performance in the smallest package. And WOW what a difference. Even with the huge motor the new compressor is actually SLIMMER than my old Harbor Freight so it can sit more flush against the wall which is exactly what I wanted, and barely only 2-3 in longer. It's SO QUIET and literally takes less than 1 minute to fill up completely. Recovery time is only a few seconds. Even with a smaller 2 gallon tank it's not an issue because the motor offers excellent CFM to work with. I used it with an air duster nearly non-stop and it had no problem keeping up, that was impossible with my old compressor even when it was new. Harbor Freight offers a 2ga 'Ultra-Quiet' compressor but it's nearly $200 and still more expensive even on sale. This Limodot offers MORE CFM and has a slim design at a much lower price, it was a no-brainer. The air connection is a 'push' design so you can simply push in a hose and it will lock into place. The compressor seems to only fill up to 100 PSI which is the same as my old compressor but I'm fine with that. The only 'cons' are that it is heavier to carry than my old compressor because of the much bigger motor but it is still VERY portable. I didn't want the 6-gallon because it would be too big to move around. If you really need that extra volume you can connect an auxiliary air-tank which is what I will turn my old compressor into.

First one I received worked for 3 min. Then it wouldn't turn on. Returned for another, and tested it running straight for 10 hours, so far, runs PERFECTLY. The piston heads do get hot and I would not recommend touching for more than a second. Goes to about 118 PSI, runs all my air tools. And the SOUND is LESS THAN MY COMMON TALKING, WOW! That is GREAT. at 34 lbs, and a small footprint. I LOVE IT! PS: It is made in China, even though the advertising video makes it appear it is in the USA. If I didn't need a smaller foot print, I would have gladly paid the extra $50 for the California air tools compressor on Amazon that has an Aluminum tank (less chance of any rust, which you'll see coming out the the bottom air release valve after a few years of use because of moisture.) California Air Tools 2010A 1.0 HP Ultra Quiet and Oil-Free Air Compressor, 2 Gallon Aluminum Tank, 60 dBA Noise Level, Silver. So because of perfect function NOW. and really LOW noise/decibels, I give the LIMODOT compressor 5 stars.

In the title, this compressor is quiet which is the main reason for purchase. I keep it around 30-35 psi for my laser cutter while still having some extra plumbing to keep the smaller stock air pump that came with the machine as an option if I don't need too much air for etching, extending the life of this compressor. I have 3 levels of psi, stock machine air assist, then LightBurn air assist off (compressor psi regulated by the inline restrictor) and air assist on which full psi is set by the compressor. Have many hours of running so far and the small tank works fine, it doesn't run out of air, but of course it pumps to fill up a lot compared to a larger 6-8 gallon tank, but I specifically chose this smaller tank due to small room and lighter weight. Happy the decision has worked out. I did get an after sale email from the company and initially thought, here we go, but to my surprise, it wasn't a request for a review, it was an email directed at service and my satisfaction. They literally directed it as a reply email if I had any questions or needed tech support. No requests made to me for them, very classy after sale email imo.
