First off - I spent weeks, maybe months comparing couches before buying this one. I knew it was more firm when I bought it, so I have no complaints there. I know other people would not be able to live with how firm it is though. So yes, it is FIRM. Second, for the size of the room, the color, ease of assembly, COST, tons of additional storage it provides, the way you can choose which side you prefer to have the lounger on, and the fact that it was delivered to the door of my condo inside the building where I live, all of those things are great! It checks off almost all the boxes for me. The one thing that this lacks like with most things, is you get what you pay for. I live alone so I could kinda care slightly less about the quality - I'm not actively trying to impress anyone at this stage in my life, BUT... It is a little loose on the arm of the side without the charger. Like, by a lot! If you get this, just be aware that if you need perfection, you may need to remove and re-install some brackets to make it fit tight. I didn't care too much bc I have another piece of furniture wedged next to it on that side so it doesn't flop around. ... show more

I had been looking for a smaller couch that had storage, and most importantly, expanded to allow for sleep. Other complaints are that the couch is stiff. The only part that is super stiff is the part where all of the pieces met. I was able to put it together by myself. But, I would recommend having an electric screwdriver on hand. A few of the legs have to be manually screwed into some wood. It can be done manually with a screwdriver but would save some time if an electric screwdriver was used. I don't leave reviews, but this one I had to do, because my experience is absolutely ridiculous. I'm disappointed on the lack of flexibility this company has. I bought the item 5/15 at a price of $505 with free shipping. I received the couch on 5/22. I unbox the couch and put it all together. I sat on it and goodness gracious... this couch is EXTREMELY HARD, absolutely no budge, or softness. I called OJCommerce the next day (5/23) since it was so late. I was informed I would have to pay / be charged a shipping fee at a discount rate of "$138.67" and be placed in its ORIGINAL box (which I had to cut to remove couch). Are you kidding me $138.67? Yes, I understand that I would have to pay some sort of return fee but come on. I mention I would like to purchase their black leather couch that looks softer, a simple swap. I would put the current grey couch I have in the new black leather couch box and ship it back. I was told "NO". Now I'm disappointed with their customer service! Conclusion: WORD TO THE WISE: If you buy this couch and it will be hard as a rock..you CANNOT return it at a reasonable price and they do not budge. My recommendation is to buy an "Amazon" returnable item/furniture. OJCommerce you could of had a couple other purchases from me since I furnishings an apartment, but you lost a good customer, since I have few friends who like the couch layout. UPDATE: 7/2/23 I called Amazon several times: I spoke to several agents, I laid my case out, all were in agreement if this was them they would like a return. Long story short, Amazon I opened an A-Z claim. After 1month Amazon settled with the vendor stating "The Amazon A-to-z Guarantee protects you when you purchase items sold and fulfilled by a third-party seller. Our guarantee covers both the timely delivery and the CONDITION OF THE ITEM. As this return isn't a result of an Amazon.com or the third party seller’s error, you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping, as well as any restocking fees that may apply. We bought this for a camper trailer we renovated since the description says it was small enough, and when I say it’s beautiful and fits perfect, it’s beautiful and fits perfect. Its not too big but not too small. It was very easy to install and best part, it pulls out to either lay comfortably while watching tv or to sleep on. It’s large enough to fit my 6 foot husband.
