First off - I spent weeks, maybe months comparing couches before buying this one. I knew it was more firm when I bought it, so I have no complaints there. I know other people would not be able to live with how firm it is though. So yes, it is FIRM. Second, for the size of the room, the color, ease of assembly, COST, tons of additional storage it provides, the way you can choose which side you prefer to have the lounger on, and the fact that it was delivered to the door of my condo inside the building where I live, all of those things are great! It checks off almost all the boxes for me. The one thing that this lacks like with most things, is you get what you pay for. I live alone so I could kinda care slightly less about the quality - I'm not actively trying to impress anyone at this stage in my life, BUT... It is a little loose on the arm of the side without the charger. Like, by a lot! If you get this, just be aware that if you need perfection, you may need to remove and re-install some brackets to make it fit tight. I didn't care too much bc I have another piece of furniture wedged next to it on that side so it doesn't flop around. ... show more

For the price, this is a decent couch. It looks nice, and it went together easily. I got this 5 months ago. I don't think it is really intended for long and heavy use. When I got it, my bedroom was in a state of construction, so I was sleeping on this couch. I was opening it up daily, and using it to sleep on steadily for about 2 months. I don't think it is intended for that much heavy use. After those 2 months, it continues to get daily use by me as my main place to relax and watch TV, read, or play my Switch on a daily basis for most of the evening after work. It's also my primary place to take a nice nap after working around the house on the weekends. It has begun to tear a bit at a couple of seams. The roll out bed portion doesn't like to stay on its track and sometimes comes loose to push several inches away from the rest of the couch. The arms and where the two sections connect is not a super strong connection and time has made them all a bit wobbly. The couch has also settled some, and the frame can be felt through the cushions, especially where the two sections meet. This makes napping on it with my head at the chaise side uncomfortable with a bar right about where my hip is, so I lay on it with my head at the other end. For the price I paid (which was under $600 at the time, its fluctuated since then) I do think its a decent deal for the money. When a good, solid couch is more in the $2000 range, this little one is holding up pretty well, so I can't complain too much. But, if this couch is going to get heavy use by multiple people, kids, pets, it probably won't stand up to a beating. If you need a good, sturdy, long lasting couch, I'd recommend looking at something more expensive if you can afford it. It is a perfect size for my little 600SF house though, and the ability to switch around which side the chaise is on is very convenient for making it fit into my space. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase for our cottage! I have never ordered a couch on Amazon before so I wasn’t sure the quality would be any good, but I have to say I was super impressed with the fabric, ease to put together, and most of all the price! I didn’t want to spend much since this is just our cottage but this couch has so much for so little. The storage, pullout bed, reversible L, and the USB ports…you can’t ask for much more! The color is very pretty with shades of light and dark grey flecks and the fabric is super soft! The cushions are very narrow and very firm but we don’t mind that. The couch is very attractive and I love the storage space under the lounge. SUPER easy to pull out the bed part (and easy to put back as well). You could even leave it out so everyone can lounge. It is kind of petite--perfect size for me but might feel small to a taller/larger person. Sitting down on the couch for the first time was kind of a surprise--pretty hard. Definitely not a "cushy' type couch that makes you want to take a nap. But I slept on it the other night and it was very comfortable for sleeping--I didn't wake up at all. I needed a sofa for my home office and this was exactly what I needed. The sofa arrived in just a day and came in 3 boxes. Assembly was pretty easy and straight forward. I recommend having a power drill for the front "L" shape legs, but the round legs are just basic screw in. After my wife and I finished the assembly (in roughly 30 min), we put a throw and some pillows and voila! The sofa looks phenomenal! There is suprisingly ALOT of storage space for pillows and blankets. When I pull out the sleeper, there is more than enough space for a person that is 6 feet and 190. The cushion is on the stiffer side, which I like as well. The coolest and my favorite feature of all is the 2 USB ports that allows us to plug in our phones, ipads, and other gadgets. There is even pouches for our cell phone and magazines. Overall, this sofa is a great value. Highly recommended and very happy my purchase! ... show more
