Nice bed frame for the price. That being said, the assembly instructions were very, very poor. As an engineer, who details orthographic and isometric drawings for a living... these were a NIGHTMARE to follow. On top of the poor drawings, lots of my pieces were not labeled. I Got it together on my own in just under 90 minutes. But, don't let this stop you buying! Once together, it does look good. This bed frame is well engineered, and carefully manufactured. Please note: the step by step instructions are in drawing form. There are no written instructions. But, if you pay close attention to the drawings, you will have no trouble assembling the frame. Study the drawings carefully, as it is easy to make mistakes and then you'll need to correct the mistakes, as I did a few times. This frame is not something you can throw together in your spare time. It took me more than 12 hours, working diligently to get it as you see it in the photo. It is a COMPLEX assembly. I suggest you not have several people work on it together, as it would be easy for someone to depart from the instructions. Just in case you think I work more slowly than you would, you should know I'm a structural engineer with 40 years experience in the building industry. I also have assembled complex electronic equipment for past employers. 'nuff said. I recommend you NOT use the allen wrench provided to assemble this product. I would take even longer if you use it. Instead, get a tip for a screwdriver at any hardware store, just take a bolt from the hardware package to match the size. Start all bolts by hand, as it is easy to strip the threads if you use a cordless drill. Once the bolt is several threads into the socket, use a cordless drill on low speed and low torque. The included allen wrench is useful for doing the final tightening on each bolt. It's also not necessary to wait until the end of the assembly to tighten all the bolts. The machining tolerances on this product are excellent, and you may tighten each bolt as you proceed with the assembly. To repeat- this frame is a high-quality, well-engineered, and carefully manufactured product. It took over an hour to unpack the box it is shipped in, as the parts are well protected. Remove all parts from the plastic sleeves they're shipped in or you won't be able to read the part numbers. Again, this is a relatively complex assembly, so take your time and study the drawings carefully. They proceed step by step and there is little confusion over what you need to do in each step. My photo was taken just prior to assembling the drawers, which only takes 20-30 minutes. ... show more

I bought two of these beds. The frames take 1-2 hours to assemble. It appears flimsy at first but once assembled it's definitely sturdy. The reason for 3 stars is the drawers. They're fabric and could've easily been masonite or similar but it's not. They look good, feel cheap. Drawers do hold clothing just don't try and pack them full. ... show more

Very time consuming to assemble, the drawers are fabric and made of poor materials, the rails for drawera are cheap Plastic and easily removed. Some drawera wont fit, it was a disappointment, I would never recommend it, walmart bed frame better lol

Always read the reviews before buying. We were both very pleased with the quality of the bed. Yes a lot of parts, and instructions were easy to follow. Both me and my husband tagged team on this assembly and took us about 1 hour 1/2.

Bed frame was pretty easy to put together. The headboard, wood color match perfectly on description, But the drawers were a little darker. The entire frame itself is very sturdy and stable. Good buy.
