I got very well impressed with this bed frame. It is very easy to set up. My wife helped me put all pieces together in less than 1 hour or so. Instructions are clear and all pieces are identified by numbers. It comes with the tools needed to build it up, but I’d suggest to have a hex key set in hand to facilitate the installation process. The pieces are strong and well assembled, so they can be easily fixed. I got another full size bed frame for my little son at IKEA and paid $180 just for the bed frame. I’m scare every time I get on his bed because it looks very weak and unstable. So, I’d say that this is a really good California size bed frame for a very good and reasonable price in comparison with other options like IKEA or Walmart, even of smaller sizes. ... show more

The bed itself was cute and easy to put together. The only thing that took a while to put together was most of the wooden pieces had no holes to put the screws right through, one had screws and the other didn’t, and I had to drill some of them to make it work.
