    • Does exactly what I expected and is surprisingly sturdy.

I don't get what people are complaining about with the instructions, it says the screws are in the headrest, and they were, in fact, in the headrest. Sure, assembly isn't as easy and putting two Legos together, but if you seriously had issues assembling this maybe you shouldn't be assembling furniture. The bolts DO NOT go into slots, but they pass THROUGH slots so you can adjust the depth of the bottom cushion slightly. Anyone with shorter legs should appreciate that. The only thing I found slightly wonky is that the headrest itself must remain inserted into it's bracket before you attach the bottom half hanger that clamps it to the chairback. If you try to slide it up and down before it's mounted it will push the locking tabs out of the tube, but if you're even basically mechanically inclined you can easily put them back in in seconds. As for the chair itself my biggest concern was the stability of the armrests as these pillar mount style ones are notorious for being wobbly. Thankfully, these ones aren't and I'm assuming it's due to the very stout mounting system that wraps under the bottom. There's a slight amount of movement due to the adjustable height but nowhere near enough that it's distracting. I've seen none better and many that were FAR worse. Height comes up well above where I would want it so I can only assume anyone complaining about the low armrests either don't know how to raise them or they're extraordinarily tall which neither is the chair's fault. (I will never understand why people that are very tall or overweight magically expect all seating to accommodate them.) The mesh is nice and cool and the adjustable lumbar makes it easy to put it exactly where you need it for your height. As someone that's always replaced the wheels on my office chairs even the wheels were of a higher quality than average so these just might stay. Considering high back mesh chairs have always started out at $200 this chair ended up being nicer than I hoped, let alone expected. It's brand new though so if I encounter any problems I'll update this review later. I know how difficult it can be to find a chair that's decent quality and comfortable. ... show more

Used this chair for almost a month, and I'd say it's a solid desk/office chair. The mesh makes the chair feel more breathable and comfortable to sit in for hours without feeling hot. Hanger on the back of the backrest is a big plus if you like to keep a "desk jacket" nearby. Armrests adjust easily but only vertically (just a warning for folks who want to adjust them horizontally too). I removed one star because 1. assembly was relatively easy, but putting together the seat and backrest was a bit tricky since both parts are heavy for a smaller person, and 2. the seat itself is a bit smaller than I'd like in terms of depth; I sometimes like to sit criss-cross or curl up in the chair, and my knees or feet feel like they'll slip off the seat's edge. Otherwise, it's a solid chair, and I'm glad I upgraded to this chair, just keep those details in mind! ... show more

After using this chair for about 2 years, it dawned on me that it's been comfortable and reliable and without any problems. Early on after purchasing, i had forced it to move in a way that experienced major resistance (I shouldn't have forced it) and then one of the wheels got bent. I had contacted the manufacturer at that time about what happened and without questions they immedately sent me a replacement wheel. I did the replacement and the chair has been great for the last 2 years. I would highly recommend this chair to anyone looking for an ergo chair that is reliable and comfortable. I would probably buy another one if I needed a second ergo chair. ... show more

I think easy to assemble is the nicest thing I can say. 5⭐️ Seat comfort is over all 2⭐️. Mesh seat is ok, but quite firm. Armrest adjustment is ok, 5 height choices. I haven’t found the magic combo of seat height and arm height yet for total mouse comfort. The button for seat adjustment would be more accessible if it was closer to the armrest… but that’s probably just a preference. 3⭐️ I’m disappointed in the back of the chair. I like to sit up more straight and the chair. Once adjusted to the most upright position, the position of the back is not upright. How is it an office or desk chair can lean far enough back for a nap but cannot support a fully upright position? 2⭐️ The headrest. SMH. 2⭐️ maybe I just don’t understand the need for a headrest or a hanger on the back of my chair. Honestly it’s just not that great. It feels rickety and cheap. My last chair was an $89 chair and it felt more sturdy. Appearance… I got the green color… but stuck with black frame. It’s ok in appearance.
